I hope your Thanksgiving was the best ever...
Ours was EXTRA wonderful this year...
We had, and I didn't get photos of,
a very large TURKEY BREAST
and a large SMOKED TURKEY BREAST
and
the best HAM....
Ever cooked one in a crock pot...?
I never had, either..but on someone's blog,
I saw the inspiration and I decided to try it...
It was WONDERFUL.
My dressing this year was extra good...
I made 2 big pans of it and we'll enjoy more of it a little later.
It's so easy to freeze...
I always use the same ttablecloth for Thanksgiving...
just a few fallish items to help make a pretty centerpiece.
Two tables...so much fun with our sweet family.
This is a long post as I'm ready to get on with CHRISTMAS....
Lots of girls in the family!!
ReplyDeleteCrock pot ham - great idea when you have all that turkey taking up oven space for sure. May have to try that.
ReplyDeleteYou look so full of joy in that happy laughing pic, bj - love it - and so glad for you to have been surrounded about family for the holiday.
Have fun with the Christmas decorating season. I am SO inspired and in the mood, my house is slowly emptying out it's holiday wares = used to be able to do in one fell swoop, but those days are long behind me. Step by step it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. Hugs.
The best photos are those of the happy faces! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBJ,
ReplyDeleteHAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Thanks for stopping by..I am just getting around to my return visits....
I do a turkey breast too but could not find a large one so i did 2 small ones!!
Hugs,
Deb
