A lil' more Thanksgiving

Hi, everyone...
I hope your Thanksgiving was the best ever...
Ours was EXTRA wonderful this year...

We had, and I didn't get photos of,
a very large TURKEY BREAST
and a large SMOKED TURKEY BREAST
and
the best HAM....

Ever cooked one in a crock pot...?
I never had, either..but on someone's blog,
I saw the inspiration and I decided to try it...

It was WONDERFUL.

My dressing this year was extra good...
I made 2 big pans of it and we'll enjoy more of it a little later.
It's so easy to freeze...

I always use the same ttablecloth for Thanksgiving...

just a few fallish items to help make a pretty centerpiece.

Two tables...so much fun with our sweet family.

...did somebody tell a joke..????

This is a long post as I'm ready to get on with CHRISTMAS....
No more about Thanksgiving.  :>)

  1. Crock pot ham - great idea when you have all that turkey taking up oven space for sure. May have to try that.

You look so full of joy in that happy laughing pic, bj - love it - and so glad for you to have been surrounded about family for the holiday.

Have fun with the Christmas decorating season. I am SO inspired and in the mood, my house is slowly emptying out it's holiday wares = used to be able to do in one fell swoop, but those days are long behind me. Step by step it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here. Hugs.

  9. I need to recoup and regroup before I even think about Christmas, though the tree, still in its box, is sitting right here staring at me.

Looks like a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope to remember the ham tip for Christmas. You look so cute laughing at the joke. Do you remember it?
