ANOTHER
BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S bj's
I have to tell you about an email I got a few days ago...
"bj, I love seeing what you have for breakfast...most especially your photos....
you might wanna change your blog name to
BREAKFAST * AT * bj's"
hahhhaaa....I just may do that very thing...:>)
This can be a SATURDAY breakfast, too...
...from my SUSAN BRANCH calendar...
We all know the wondrous things that can be made using
canned biscuits, right !!??
I'm using the jumbo biscuits here...
and I favor
BUTTERMILK BISCUITS
YEP....
HAM & CHEESE HAND PIES...
I always buy
Oscar Mayer Black Forest ham
and can't endorse ANY other ham...:)
This is mostly used for sandwiches but I use it for lots of other things and try to have a package in my fridge at all times.
After filling with melted butter, shredded cheese and favorite ham,
fold over and using fork, mash top and bottom of biscuit together...
I then sprinkled a little more cheese and added a few shakes of
GARLIC BREAD SPRINKLE on top of each little morsel.
Don't be shy with this wonderful sprinkle...
I will use more of it next time.

OMYGOSH...
aren't they just beautiful...!!
Some of them opened up....guess I failed to mash some of them together enuf to stick together...
ooo, well.....
Meant to say that while the hand pies were baking, I made a
Pineapple Ambrosia Breakfast Salad...
This pretty little glass compote belonged to my mother
and I can't remember a time we didn't have it...
which means she got it before I was born.
I guard it with my very life.
Very simple salad...
pineapple
cherries
toasted coconut
Real Orange Juice sometimes upsets my tummy but
SUNNY D works mighty well with me...!!
Now this creamy, tasty, I-could-lick-the-bowl dip
for these hand pies is so simple...and sooo good...especially where HAM is involved.
REAL mayo (never, EVER Miracle Whip)
and plain mustard.
Mix together, to YOUR taste...
I happen to not want it the least bit sour so I use more mayo than mustard.
This combination of the pies, fruit, coffee and orange juice is a COMPANY breakfast, FOR SURE.
I can't wait for cousins to come spend the night and
I'll make this SPECIAL breakfast for them
and they will love it.
"Feel better, Mickey and you and Ginny come see us soon."
"Feel better, Mickey and you and Ginny come see us soon."
Windy and a little bit cold but SUNSHINE !
XOXO bj
