If anyone had told me 2 years ago that I would go
almost a month without posting here,
I would have laughed out loud.
Things change, tho...
life changes...
and I am just trying to go with the flow.
Little Hudson is really turning into a little fish...
he, of course, wears a little life jacket type thing that helps keep him afloat,
but his little legs kick like crazy and he is learning as he goes.
Today...
he tried the slide BY HIM SELF and I was IN AWE...
not one bit afraid...
♥
A friend and I went thrifting the other day....
first time I've been in awhile.
I found this adorable white pitcher
and even tho I have a TON of white dishes,
it was too cute to pass up....
and the 99cent price tag made me smile.
♥
Summer isn't officially here yet,
but color is sure turning up around The Summer House.
Wishing you and yours a pleasant weekend
ReplyDeleteBrave little man! What an amazing pool he has to learn in! You certainly have the knack for decorating, I love your use of colour. I hope you are well, have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteAwe they grow us so fast! I love the white pitcher. I found one once at the Good Will thrift store and use it for a daisy vase.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you will think of something for a potting table or Just add your special touch to this one! I think its darling!

Your little great is a brave little boy...I bet he just loves the pool. Have you ever tried that slide? Always colorful here with lots of cheer. Yes, once Instagram is embraced, it’s more of a challenge to blog. 😁
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks pretty there! It feels like summer here...already really hot! Love that you have a beautiful home and family near too! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!---you're back!! So glad to see you my friend! I love the pictures of Hudson coming that big slide, looks like he is having a ball for sure! I love all the pictures of your little patio, your home, and pretty yard, and the pretty views of the new pool, it's just gorgeous! Hope you're doing great and you've had a good week! I love spring and I'm so glad it's here!
ReplyDeleteMade my day to see your blog for the day. Knowing you are alright is so good. I am lucky if I get my blog to work. Not involved all those things you do. Keep doing whatever makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Hudson on the slide I first read it as, "I tried the slide by myself..." :) I'm with you on the whole summer thing. While I was in San Diego it rained every single day and Seattle was sunny with temps in the 80s! Now that I'm back, Seattle is gray and rainy. I'm SO ready for summer!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteYou live in a paradise! I always smile when I see you post and rush right over!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to lazy days in the sun...come on summer!
ReplyDeleteHave an enjoyable summer. Everything looks lovely.

ReplyDeleteGood to see a post from you. I understand how blogging can get pushed to the back burner though. . .sometimes it is completely off the stove these days!
ReplyDeleteI don't "need" anything , but I can't pass up white pitchers or soup tureens.
ReplyDeleteHave fun finding the right potting bench.
Same here, I don't wait a month but I don't post everyday which is WAY different for me. I love that pitcher, yep... I would have bought it too. Nothing better than little ones enjoying a good splash in the pool. Have a blessed day dear B.J. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteBJ,
ReplyDeleteOh, I hear you loud and clear!
Time has a way of getting away from me, too!
I spend a tremendous amount of time with "Mr. Ed"
which I am eternally grateful for!
Love your bits and bobs!
Enjoy life!
Pat
