Good morning to all...♥
I do this Bits and Bobs to cover all the unrelated pictures
that end up in MY PICTURES file.
Bright red geraniums are my favorite of all flowers, I think.
This is the first pot I've bought this season...
but I have a few in the greenhouse (potting shed sounds much more romantic)
that I will bring out in the next week or so.
Little great-grand, Hudson, LOVES to jump....
and I LOVE Hudson ......♥ ♥ ♥
On the day, this week, that was Mr. Sweet's 84th birthday
and our 59th anniversary,
my grandgirls brought me these beautiful yellow tulips
and a delicious chicken dinner .
Needless to say,
they surely brightened the day for me.
I am blessed.
♥
....beautiful cookies that a dear friend made and decorated for our Bunco group...
The prettiest I've ever seen and, boy...
they were delicious.
It's rainy here and we need every drop HE is gracious enuf to send us.
So thankful....
bj
Enjoy the flowers and the love of your family, bj!
ReplyDeleteHappy 59th! There is still much love and joy to celebrate even though our dear husbands are no longer with us.

My husband loves Spam too! What pretty flowers.
ReplyDeleteI like Spam, yellow tulips, chicken dinners, red geraniums, and Hopping Hudson. What a cutie pie he is! Do you have a favorite Spam recipe? My red geraniums overwintered pretty well. I can’t believe I am hanging onto them this long...connections you know. A blessed rainy day to you...my day is rainy as well.
ReplyDeleteI love these kinds of posts, because they are made up of real life. That Hudson is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos. I think Tulips and Sunflowers are my favorite flowers. I LOVE spam although haven't had it in years.. Used to eat it quite often with eggs and cheese or just on a sandwich with cheese. We had rain and so much wind here last night in South Carolina but today is BEAUTIFUL outside. In the 60 and just a lovely lovely breeze. Have a blessed day :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. We got rain two nights ago and lots of wind then and yesterday. I had another tree come down on my property. Today it is cooler but at least the sun in out. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures and got a chuckle out of the Spam can with flowers. I thought to myself...only BJ could make a dang Spam can look good! Happy Resurrection day. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your anniversary milestone. So many precious memories come with each special day.
ReplyDeleteAww this was a nice post and I love that photo of your grandson! I hope you have a nice week and a Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteLove all your pics. I cannot wait to go to the store and get my flowers and I always buy red geraniums.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures. Tulips are so pretty and what a bright color, to brighten your day. have a wonderful week.

Your bits and bobs are loads of fun and give me many smiles! Definitely spring in your world!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet your family gifted you with flowers and also their care and concern for your sad heart missing Bill. That is the best gift that they will be right there with you on all these important dates that will come up. I love tulips especially yellow. So pretty.

Trampoline was one of my favorite things as a kid, now...not so much.
ReplyDeleteOh how precious and sweet to mark what would have been your sweet man's bday and your anniversary that way. Beautiful. I love geraniums as well but I kill them. Every time. So I'll enjoy yours. Now about SPAM. I LOVE it too but I honestly haven't had it in years. I remember we would have it with eggs for dinner on Saturday nights or Sunday evenings. My mouth is watering thinking about it!!
ReplyDeleteHudson is such a cutie!!
ReplyDeleteB.J. I just love your bright cheery posts and your pretty pictures, even your close-ups are so clear and bright! The tulips and the chicken supper...love in action, from those who love you and remember the important days. And yes, I grew up eating SPAM and I always LOVED IT, we fried it and had spam sandwiches, oh so good when we were kids!
ReplyDeleteI used to love Spam, but now find it a bit too salty. Loved it fried, Mom made it as a special treat for all us kids.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.

I love your Bits & Bobs.
ReplyDeleteI too grew up on Spam, but haven't had it for at least 40 years. I don't know where I would even find it in the store
I haven't played Bunco in years! It's a fun game. Your great-grandson is so cute! We had a trampoline when our girls were growing up. So many fun memories of them jumping and laughing!
ReplyDeleteCute pictures, BJ. I hope you had a blessed Easter.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! I too grew up on Spam and still love eating it - especially the original full-of-salt version. They used Spam cans at a bar in Hawaii for one of their tropical drinks . . .way too cute! And happy anniversary to you - hope the day held special memories for you! And belated to you Happy Easter - it is coming up this Sunday here!
ReplyDeleteLove this post. That Hudson is as cute as cute can be. I have all white and pink geraniums...lol...my mother loved red ones though. Those cookies are fantastic and I want a friend like the one that said- Eat it- we're old and we deserve it!....lol
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Sunday! xo Diana
Loved this whole set of bits and bobs. Hudson is just too adorable! Have a blessed weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Anniversary! Fifty years is quite an accomplishment. I sure wish someone would bring me a chicken dinner and yellow tulips. Those tulips are beautiful, and I love your display with those checkered salt and pepper shakers.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mothers Day.
