I DO !!!
I adore semi-homemade so much. ♥♥♥
The test kitchens that come up with the mixes have
"Come a long way, Baby"
I dearly LOVE the words,
JUST ADD MILK 😍
Those that know me, know I always add
vanilla to any of my mixes....
and for these pumpkin morsels,
I also added
cinnamon and NUTMEG.....
Pumpkin ANYthing needs a dash of nutmeg.....
This was my first time to use this mix and it is very good.
The instructions on the packet say
bake 10-12 minutes
but I baked mine about 8-9 minutes...
didn't want to take the chance of them being too dry.....
and they were moist and delicious....
and the bite size is just right.......
BJ, I some times add chopped pecans to those little muffin mixes. I make some berry ones yesterday. I am going to try that vanilla . I have not found any pumpkin flavor, but I am going to be looking.:) Hope your weekend is going well. It was doing a bit of everything here yesterday. It's 34 this morning...hope it warms up soon. Blessings, xoxo, love Susie
ReplyDeleteI love these mixes, honey bran is one of my faves but I will try this one too:) Enjoy your day dear B.J. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGreat I'll have to look for this, although I eat Low Carb now I am at my weight goal so I can have it on a "cheat" day.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking of buying donuts for our Sunday morning, but maybe I will get in there and rustle up some muffins instead...I do have a can of pumpkin...
ReplyDeleteAnd such cute muffin papers too!
ReplyDeleteGosh-remember years ago when those mixes had an almost chemical taste? They have come so far and I like semi-homemade, too. It's fun to start with a readymade base. Have a great Sunday-xo Diana
ReplyDeleteHow I love semi-homemade! I so want to bake again but right now my oven is burning everything! Your muffins look so good, and I know they taste better then thay look.
ReplyDeleteNonie
The muffins look delicious. I know with the ingredients you added they are delicious. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteYou are a pretty smart cookie....er...muffin! hahaha!!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday....
Yummy. Love the cute papers visiting yo from My Journey on my phone. It't wierd i can now read comments on my phone.
ReplyDeleteBut I still cant read them on the blog.
I click on them and nothing happens.
CUTE cupcake papers!! So festive!
ReplyDeleteI like to add vanilla to most things too!
ReplyDeleteThose copycats were cute! I especially like the desk, and I liked your version better!
xoxo Su
Thank you for the review! Why am I not surprised to find you baking?! ☕️
ReplyDeleteHow delicious!Have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteThese look so delish. I love the idea of adding some spices and vanilla. I will have to see if that muffin mix or one like it is in my grocery store.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week.
Hugs,
KRis
The heat is on at my house, yep fall is here.
ReplyDeleteMy mouth is watering and I giggled when I read "I dearly LOVE the words,
ReplyDeleteJUST ADD MILK ". Me too! Since Dick moved on to the stars, I don't bake anymore ... unless it's something just like your tiny bits of autumn!
I buy bran muffin mixes as they are actually less expensive than buying all the ingredients to make them from scratch and turn out wonderfully every time. No pumpkin muffin mixes here but if and when they do come here I will be trying them out with added nuts and spices.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Bitesize is just right these days. Love your additions!
ReplyDeleteWe are slowly getting more mixes on the shelves in Greece, but alas the directions are in Greek so none for this gal. I did bring back a scone mix and two Jello tapioca pudding mixes in my suitcase from the States and I plan to mix up a taste of home a few times thanks to those handy-dandy mixes!! Just have to find some berries to add to the scones, but that's a whole 'nother challenge! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi NJ, I agree, pumpkin needs nutmeg. Everything in fall baking needs nutmeg, wink. Nothing like chocolate and pumpkin either.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your day
Cindy
I have been known to use boxed cake mix now and again. I also love Ghirardelli brownies. Great idea to add additional spices. These look yummy, and that plate is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAmazing blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your design. Many thanks

Those sure look DEE-LI-CEE-OUS my friend! I love to "doctor" up the mixes too, so much we can add....vanilla, spices, nuts, etc. in the mixes or even as toppings. We've just returned from vacation and I'm trying to catch up with any posts I've missed. It may take me awhile, ha ha ha LOL!! do y'all have Fall there yet?? Hope your week is going great!
ReplyDeleteHoney, I am right there with you on the semi-homemade! And like you, I always add a few extras to improve the flavor...and ANYTHING Pumpkin Spice is fabulous on the taste buds!! Those look delicious! I love nutmeg...it is such a great spice and makes you feel all warm and cozy...if a spice could make one feel all warm and cozy! :-) Have a great one!
