Sunday morning (9/2) was such a gorgeous morning....
Getting ready for church on this gorgeous Sunday morning,
I was treated to this beautiful Texas sunrise....
The sky was literally ablaze with intense colors...
A few minutes later, the colors all less intense
and took on a Golden Glow...
Our sky was so full of HIS GLORY.
Looking at such beauty humbles me and makes me
A lot of the plants around the pool are still doing well...
and some look like they are about to tell us GOOD BYE....
our temps have been in the middle to high 90's all last week...
our temps have been in the middle to high 90's all last week...
This Jew is just breathtaking...
so full and lush and full or color...
I think all this coming week will be in the 80's....
Autumn is knocking at our door.....
I wanted to show you this adorable pot that a friend painted for me.
She has so much talent, it just oozes out of her.
I just love my new little hand painted pot....♥
Right now, I just have a jar of water with some Sweet Potato Vine in it...
rooting more so I can plant them in a really large pot.
These babies root sooo quickly...just a matter of days.

...a close-up of her adorable and talented gift....
I just love that she painted the inside of the pot in my favorite color
in the whole wide world.

I pray that September will be a blessed and awesome month
for all of us.

BJ, I love your sky photos. I really enjoy taking them too...the skies change so quickly that you better be fast getting those shots. Yours are beautiful. What a cute gift. I love it. It's got the black and white you love. :):) Hugs to you today my friend. Blessings always, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteOh BJ how funny to read your post with that beautiful painted pot in it. . .because we decided to paint our interior stairs all white and they have a black wrought iron hand railing and I have been looking in the internet for some black and white striped or checked ceramic candle stick holders or vases or something to adorn the bottom steps. This just made me think I might be able to make something myself. . .won't look nearly this good but I could give it a try!
ReplyDeleteBreathtakingly beautiful skies! LOVE capturing a beautiful sky! That pot is TOO DARN cute! What a sweet gift! Enjoy your day dear B.J. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise! A wonderful way to start a day.

Very pretty pot, pretty plants, pretty skies! Yes, I can join you in that wish~prayer for a pleasant September for all.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a beautiful sky! I'm never up early enough to see it. I do love the sunsets though. God's creation is indescribable at times. When I see gorgeous landscape, my first thought is how even the trees praise Him. I love that! And all of your plants look so lovely. You must have green thumbs! Totally jealous.
ReplyDeleteSuch an awesome sky sight. Looks as tho the good Lord is covering us with of his heavenly blanket. My flowers are gone. Just could not take all those over 100 degree days we have had. Thankfully we got a little rain and it is cooler. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is gorgeous there! I love all the plants and that painted pot is adorable. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Sky so pretty. Fun pot, too.
ReplyDeleteHi bj, what an amazing sky to wake up to. The colors were so bright and pretty. Still hot and humid here in NJ. We had enough with the humidity, it's been horrible this summer.
ReplyDeleteYour pot from your friend is very pretty and thoughtful.
Enjoy the rest of your day
Cindy

ReplyDeleteSweet and lovely pot. And the surprise inside is a delight.
ReplyDeleteI call those skies Morning Glory. What beautiful evidence of His love for us, and His glory!
Beautiful skies, BJ! I love the painted pot from a friend, it is so pretty! I can’t wait for cooler weather and autumn to arrive!
ReplyDeleteOne of the prettiest skies I ever saw was like a lavender, felt very surreal. Violet/Blue sky typically means sunlight is going through less atmosphere and less dust/water vapor, at higher levels it turns more into the orange/red/yellow family. The light wavelengths work similar when it comes to raindrops and rainbows. Good thing for the sky (unless it's grey) it's always pretty.
ReplyDeleteJust glorious!
ReplyDeleteWell, that is one beautiful post....just look at those clouds and that sky, so amazing! I also root the "tater" vines, granddaughter clips me off every few days, puts in in a glass jar of water, and she has fun watching it root, they root so FAST!! And then we let her plant them. I now have them all over the porch and the backyard too. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sunrise! We had a stunningly beautiful one here this morning. Generally, I’m never up this early, but I need to run my dad to the doctor and had to get up before dawn. I had no idea sunrise could be so lovely. Your post is wonderful, beautiful pictures. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteBJ, love your new pot! Your friend is indeed very talented. Love a beautiful sunrise, more so than a sunset. Happy end of summer!
ReplyDeleteThe sky photos are just beautiful. Your cute flower pot is just adorable and your plants look quite healthy. Have a blessed day and a wonderful month of September. Madeline
ReplyDeleteLove your pot, it's beautiful and that sky is gorgeous. I live in Texas too so have been blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, as well :)
ReplyDelete'Amazing sunrise. ♥ And I just looked through some of your posts from this past year and want to let you know how impressed I am with how beautifully you're still living despite the loss of your under-the-pergola cake-eating love. :) It is admirable, and I'm sure he's proud of you. ♥
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is a morning sky! Gorgeous. And I love your friend's pot she did. You're right -- she's talented, and generous too.
ReplyDeleteWow those sky photos are gorgeous !! Live your pot that your friend painted for you...how cute and whimsical. Hope you get some relief from this heat.
