CORN is one of our favorite veggies...
we like it any way we can get it...
I saw this recipe for
SLOW COOKER CREAMED CORN
and when I saw CREAM CHEESE in the ingredients,
I rolled up my sleeves, put my CHEF hat on
and made a BIG pot of it.
I tell you, it was so good I wished I'd doubled the recipe...
It was so good served with a fresh salad and hard boiled eggs...
well......and....
a few biscuits with the meal...
and a few served with LEMON CURD
for a mighty fine dessert..
Son DAVID had a couple of servings...a grandgirl came in for a round or two of the corn and got the recipe...
HERE is the recipe
if you like corn, you will really enjoy this recipe...
I did tweak it a bit by adding a bit of sour cream....just mix it all together and see if there's anything you want to add.
It is sweet...and a bit too sweet for us, hence the addition of sour cream...
SOOO GOOD...
It seems I always end my posts with randomness so .......
Some of you will remember these adorable
BIRD PLACE CARDS
that I made a few years ago.
The pattern was from COUNTRY LIVING magazine and now,
I can't find it.
When I try searching CL site, I can't find the pigeon pattern anywhere.
I really want to make a few more...
I haven't found these since we moved so I guess they are lost.
If YOU should come across the pattern,
let me know, please and thank you.
