The sweetest day of the year is right around the corner...
VALENTINE'S DAY
This is the sweet VALENTINE BANNER my blogging bud, KATHY,
sent me several yrs ago.
It is, by far, one of my very favorite pieces.
I love hearts....always have....and Kathy has made lots of pretty hearts.
Can you see why I love it...?
It looks amazing on my white vintage mantel.
THESE are store-bought (gasp)
CREAM CHEESE WONTONS
and they are worth about a million bucks each.
THEY ARE GOOD.
Add a Sweet and Sour dipping sauce and you are OVER THE MOON.
I am pretty sure I can eat a whole, entire package of them
BY. MY. SELF.
I just wanted to tell you about them in case you need something DELICIOUS
for a Valentine Tea....
CANDY just GOES with a VALENTINE post....:))
Candy hearts are wonderful...
CHOCOLATE, however, is MAGNIFICENT....!!!!
....and just ANY muffin or cupcake
RISES TO THE OCCASION
when they are baked in bright, cute CUPCAKE PAPERS....
"Kathy, is this photo yours or mine??" LOL
I know you had a jar full of pretty papers, too.
How much more ROMANTIC
can you get......?
Pink, red, tulips, candles, crystal, pearls ...
and XOXO

I don't actually decorate our house for VALENTINE'S DAY other than
a few hearts scattered here and there.
It looks LOVELY at your place!!!! I will have to find those Cream Cheese Wontons!!! Trader Joe's??
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, the valentine banner looks great on your white vintage mantel. The cream cheese wontons sound great!
ReplyDeleteBJ, everything looks so pretty and yummy. Have a wonderful day and eat some good chocolate.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Mary
I don't decorate for Valentine's... usually I not even really celebrate it in a different way.
ReplyDeleteBut this year Valentine's falls on a Sunday after the beginning of Lent. But Sunday is not Lent so I will have some detail for the loves who will be around the home.
I made a sign that I will post later in the week at the blog.
I love that you celebrate Life in a all.
Love,
T
I don't do much decorating for Valentine's Day either but if I had one of those little banners, I'd put it up in a heart beat...it's totally adorable. Everything looks so very lovely, right down to those cupcake papers. Happy V-Day, bj!
