I fell in luv with these adorable and brightly colored ice cream

ReplyDeleteHope all is well in your world. We are soggy in KC with tons and tons of rain. . .I know parts of TX have been hammered by them, too. Hope your area is ok!

This post screams summer! So much fun in the pool, all the bright colors, just love it! Those blue, yellow, red, and green bowls remind me of some very old Pyrex nesting bowls I got from my grandpa years ago - but yours are brighter. I might have to track those down! Have a wonderful weekend, BJ.
ReplyDeleteYes! That scene is the quintessential scene for summer. What a great way to relax and cool off. The water is gorgeous and may be influencing your happy summer color choices. Delightful!
ReplyDeleteIt is terribly hot here now. At least, your post added a cooling spot for the day.
ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait! We have more rain and cold here. Love the bowls.

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the bright summer colours too BJ. It must be wonderful to have a pool and the temperatures to enjoy it! It's been quite cool here this week (40's to upper 60's) and a risk of frost at night. I'm hoping summer weather will be here soon. Have fun painting furniture. I hope you share it with us. Pam

ReplyDeleteDear Paula...hope you come back by and see this reply. You are a NO REPLY emailer....and I get a "Profile not Available" when I click on your name...NO WAY FOR ME TO get in touch with you other than right here. Sorry.
DeleteThanks so much for coming by and commenting. I do appreciate it.
You eat cereal in your ice cream bowls? I have BRIGHT yellow ice cream bowls that make me very happy. One day I came home to my man eating chips and dip out of my ice cream bowl!!!! Well, I got very upset. Moral of the story: ice cream bowls are not meant for dip!
ReplyDeleteYour very into bright cheerful colours. Very Summery to me. I rather like the coffee mug too
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention chalk paint. I am painting furniture at The Stone House on the Hill and had hoped to find such a thing in the village hardware store. My choice was latex or gloss so I went with white latex. Sometimes the practical wins out over the decorative here in the Greek countryside! Loved the photos.
ReplyDeleteAll the little kitchen shadows are so intriguing, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI love it, the subject matter, the thrifting aspect, the colors and shadows. So happy I stopped in! Yes, Ice cream would taste four times better in that cup!
ReplyDeleteIn always can count on finding something bright, colorful and cheery at this address!
ReplyDeletelol, I would certainly love that pool :)
ReplyDeleteLove the fun bright colors for summer...Pier 1 never disappoints!
