Our 17 year old twins and some friends on their way to
PROM NIGHT...
BAILEY in the RED
I almost forgot to post a photo of THEIR DATES...

Very proud daddy....
....not a movie star ever born any more glamorous.
They all had an awesome time and I know they will remember it forever...
A great thing about blogs and FaceBook, Twitter and Instagram...
these photos will always be there.
I LOVE THAT !
This will ALWAYS be one of my favorite, lovable movies of all time...

Awww... Look at those cute ducks in your yard! So glad the girls had fun - they are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHugs to you!
Such a beautiful group of young women. And imagine, ducks in your yard !
ReplyDeleteJoy
I love the long dresses! They all look so pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun to see the lovely girls ; oh so glamourous! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely girls for sure. They are so much more sophisticated than the Pretty In Pink crowd of yesteryear. I read recently that Molly Ringwald wanted Robert Downey Jr. to play Duckie and the original ending they shot had her falling for Duckie, but screening audiences did not like that, so they re-shot the ending. Robert Downey Jr. could have pulled off the original ending I think and maybe it would have been a better movie.
ReplyDeleteI love prom time to see the gals all dressed so pretty . . .
ReplyDeleteMy oh my your twin grands are lovely . . .
Loved the Gone With The Wind staircase pose . . .
Quite "ducky" around your yard of late!
The girls are so pretty! I'm just amazed by how fancy girls are these days. Not anything like the silly southern belle dresses we wore to the prom. Love the movie!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!! I am such a huge fan of prom night. There is nothing that I have enjoyed more as a mother than the various princess projects that took my Cinderellas to the ball. I miss those days.
ReplyDeleteAnd count me as one who loved that movie as well. I am a huge Andrew McCarthy fan. Mine crush started in "St. Elmo's Fire."
BJ Cute transition from the duck tail to the ducks. Your twin granddaughters could be models. I see that there are several girls all dressed up and hanging out together. I remember when we wouldn't have dared show up for prom without a date, but teens look at it differently now. Fun post.
ReplyDeleteProms are over for us for a couple of years. It's always a fun and very busy week around the house when one of the grand daughters is involved in prom. A great time in the life of a teen. Nice images indeed and you have every reason to be a proud Daddy.
ReplyDeleteGreat prom pic. Our youngest has her senior prom next weekend - is very excited except for the uncomfortable high heeled shoes, ha ha!
ReplyDeleteThe girls are beautiful.
Hugs - Mary

Ah, we see our little ducklings as little girls - always. That is, until their proms when they seem grown-up. It is hard to let go of the baby sentimentality...but we parents manage!
ReplyDeleteI bought a suit for my wedding and the guy at the place asked me if it was for prom
ReplyDeleteI look young for my age apparently, I graduated high school in 2006

ReplyDeleteYour twins are so beautiful looking. Love those long dress's . Pretty posh looking. The twin wearing the green is awesome. I am loving the green one as my choice of color. The design is so lovely too. You must be proud parents.
ReplyDeleteThe girls are stunning! I know they had a blast ~ This time of year makes me think more about Abby than usual, if that's possible. She would be graduating, going to prom, all the fun stuff that she would love!
