Hi, ya'll
Breakfast....
are you getting sick and tired of seeing my breakfasts..?
I'm sorry...
I'll start looking for something else to blog about every now and then....promise. ♥
I don't like "spreads"...way too much water in them so I always buy MARGARINE.
My margarine..1 Tablespoon is
100 calories. GOOD GRIEF !
This new one has less calories and it's VERY good.
You might want to check how many calories in YOUR favorite...and give this
CHALLENGE BUTTER a taste test...you might lose 30 calories per tablespoonful and that's a GOOD THING.
Have you noticed how goood the plums are in this late summertime..?
Fruit...so healthy and good for you....
until you HAVE to add a fruit dip TO ♥ DIE ♥ FOR ♥
This dip is made with LITE sour cream...
Brown Sugar SUB....
add the sugar until it is just as sweet as you want.
O HoNeY !!!!

These Breakfast Biscuits are GREAT.
THESE are Blueberry.
There's four in a package...230 calories.
I eat these a lot when I am "on the road", heading to town and
no time for breakfast.
I always eat just two...and a handful of almonds.
A healthy breakfast, for sure...
I can not tell a lie, tho. and while I'm eating the healthy stuff,
THE ABOVE is like sugar plums, dancing in my head.
Thanks for coming by...hope your weekend is going to be AWESOME.
xoxo, bj

Errrrrr - no, BJ, I don't think I'd ever get tired of your breakfast posts! You make everything sound so good and so easy, and after one of your posts on the weekend I'm inspired to do more than make coffee and cereal. The Great Dane has no idea why he gets a great breakfast some Saturdays!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend BJ! Think I'll look for some plums today:@)
ReplyDelete...good morning BJ!!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Of course I've always chosen butter over margarine all the time. Margarine tastes pasty to me. If I use less butter than serving size, I'm consuming less calories and ALL natural.
Everything here looks delicious. PS...I figured H E B grocers were EVERYwhere in Texas. You proved me wrong today. lol
I have been really enjoying your breakfast posts. In fact they've inspired me to eat breakfast more often! And that's a good thing!
ReplyDeleteI think those blueberry breakfast thins look good. I got up early - 6:30 is early for me even before our birds outside were squawking.....to make Vee's (From A Haven for Vee blog) Family Favorite blueberry coffee cake as a surprise for my husband. Haven't yet, as I have a huge mug of strong coffee to drink and a few blogs to read before motivating. LOL.
Have a great day, sweet lady.
It's time for another "Pick One" post! Love your breakfast too!
ReplyDeleteHi BJ. I never get tired of your breakfasts. If I lived near by I might just happen to drop byat breakfast time because I know there would always be something delicious to eat! I'm glad I was able to visit today.
ReplyDeleteNo, I am not tired of breakfasts at BJ's. Besides, you always introduce the most amazing products. I often whip my own butter adding a little honey or some other thing...maple syrup or a bit of jam.
ReplyDeleteLove your new header, really cute bird. Me too with loving plums! I never tire of breakfast, always fuss on weekends, Your photos and the lovely flowers in the post are much enjoyed.

i use real butter. i tried spreads and margarine, etc. and finally said i could have the good stuff without all the chemicals. :)
ReplyDeleteBJ, You are too good, myself, I would have eaten all 4 cookies and looked for more. LOL. Some times if I am having, honey, jelly, or pb for a spread , I fore go the butter. Truth is butter is more wholesome than any spreads. Just not so much. LOL. I always laugh at one of my friends when she adds syrup to things, I ask her , "would you like some pancakes with that syrup??" All in fun. Aren't we all a bit quirky?? Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteBJ, I never get tired of you breakfast pictures, please continue to share to give us ideas to try. I look forward to you blog each day. What grocery store do you stop in? I have not been able to find some of the breads you shared with us. Thanks
ReplyDeletefor the positive, upbeat attitude in your blog, makes me happy to read each one.
Theresa, forgive me for answering you in my own blog...it isn't kosher to do so ...however, I don't have a way to get in touch...no blog...and no email address.
DeleteThank you very much for stopping by with such a sweet comment.
Here in our town, there's 2 major groc. stores (and Walmart/Target) . Lowes Groc. and United. I shop both places and it's Lowes where I find the Orange Cake and many of the good breads are from United. HOWEVER, Walmart carries lots of good breads in their bakery.
Thanks again...and I sure hope you come back by and see this answer to your question. I know most people have time to come by only once so this comment may not be seen. Please leave me an email so I can thank you properly.
xoxo bj

ReplyDeleteI like how you added promise in at the end of the sentence.
ReplyDeleteIt is a butter, is it not...LOL
I enjoy stopping by and seeing what you posted.
So keep on .. keeping on.
My I borrow that quote for my blog?
No, please don't stop the breakfast posts! I get a lot of ideas from Sweet Nothings. I do use butter over margarine since I read that it was much better for your health. Also I eat more eggs now as they are saying that they're not so bad for us, either. Gee Whiz, I wish the health police would make up their minds!
ReplyDeleteYou always have such great breakfast tips. I use Promise as that is what they gave me in the hospital, but I would much rather have real butter, but I don't. Sooner or later everything is bad for us to hear them tell it. We just have to be sensible about our food.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Mary
What a yummy post this was! I leave here ready to eat whatever I can find and wish I could find something that tastes as good as your post looks! :)
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

ReplyDeleteButter is so much better for you than margarine and it tastes better too! Finding a whipped butter that has fewer calories? Win, win!
