A Mermaid after my own heart...

One of my beautiful grandgirls, BRYNNA,
(that's her, on top)
was given tickets to see...

The tickets to the concert were a Christmas gift from her mama and dad. ♥ ♥ ♥

The concert was last week in DALLAS.

Since almost everyone dresses up in costume for some of these concerts,
BRYNNA decided she wanted to go as a MERMAID ....

So to HOBBY LOBBY to pick out all the things to make a magical
MERMAID COSTUME .

First off....BRYNNA is very artistic and has an eye for FLARE.....

She chose two large shells, spray painted them SILVER...
hot glued beautiful  PEARLS and silver GLITTER DUST to them.

Then we bought that really, REALLY tough glue...E 6000 or something like that;.
and she glued the shells to a strapless bra.

Then she inserted faux SEA WEED behind the shells.
Added the faux SEA FISHNET to use as a halter ..uh...holder-upper.
She added tiny shells, GLITTERY STAR FISH here and there...

Awesome makeup.....

Isn't she the most beautiful MERMAID you've EVER seen in your whole entire life...!!!
That's one of her very best friends that went to the concert with her.

They said the concert was SOOO good and
that they had an absolute blast.

ahhhhh......*SIGH.....to be 16 again.

"BRYNN...I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see you are
having such fun in your high school years."

I love you, Brynna !
♥ ♥ ♥
xoxo Memaw
and
since I know how much you love CHICKEN SALAD,
we are going to have the following for a picnic
VERY SOON....

  3. Ahh yes, to be 16. Honestly though I'm happy not to be 16 but I am very happy for 16 year olds having fun! She's a beauty, bj!
My grand niece is visiting Washington State right now and I pulled down the Barbie and other goodies from the attic for her and she was most intrigued with Mermaid Barbie!

    1. Yes, Adam...I believe she is very rare in the fact that she does care about her fans and wants to present a good example for the young ones that love her so much. Believe me, if I ever get the chance to see her, I sure will jump at the chance. :)
      Thanks for your comment.

    2. Yes, Lady Gaga cares so much for her fans that she allows Millie Brown (an "artist" who uses vomit to create her "art") to vomit on her as a part of her performance.
Your granddaughter is a lovely girl. Her costume is, however, immodest.

So sorry but I have no other choice.
I love my blogging friends and most of all my family but these spam prone people are so rude and selfish have made my blogging not nearly as much fun..
