BIG LOTS !!!
It's a store that if you find something you like,
you had better buy it because when they are out
of certain items,
they may never stock them again..
I was online the other day and went to their web site...
saw a pumpkin pillow and FELL IN LUV !
Of course, they had sold out so I went on a HUNT...
We have 3 or 4 here in Lubbock and I went to all of them today...
I FOUND THE PILLOW at the last one...YAY !!!

and it was only $12...
no zipper, tho....and I am trying to buy just the covers...
Oh, well...
(another pillow won't take up too much room....

but they came in the mail today from VERMONT STORE...

Kirklands
and it wouldn't take NO for an answer and leaped into my cart....

...again....it's the little things....

they really do have some cute things...
you just have to swing by and take a look at what they have.
I love that store.
I'm not sure if I told you or not....
I had all my upper teeth pulled and just take a look at these amazing dentures !!
I am sooo proud of them.
Mr. Sweet kept telling me
"when you have it done, you will wonder why you waited so long."
I just had them pulled last Friday and they put the new ones right in...
very sore...but no pain...
they are a bit too big and dentist says to wait 2 weeks
(time for all the swelling to go down )
and they will make another one..

You can always use the pumpkin pillow with other covers. I do that, but sometimes I forget where the real pillow is and it's a search!

I love the stuff at Big Lots. I like all the cream and torquise they have on display this year. It’s a change from all the orange and browns seen in the fall.

ReplyDeleteYou are just full of surprises. So far I still have all my teeth except two jaw teeth. Your dentures look really nice. Most problems is getting them to fit right and getting used to them. You will do just fine tho.

ReplyDeleteYour teeth are so pretty! My mom has full dentures and has had them for a long time. She didn't have dental care and her teeth weren't great...she was always having pain of one sort of another. They pulled all her teeth and she loves her dentures.

I'm a nut for pillows, too :) They are just a sweet way to add a little charm and character to a room without nails in the walls or any permanent construction. Nice on the purse strings, too :) You have plenty to smile about and you have a beautiful new smile.

BJ, You look fabulous. One day I may have to tell my dentist I am sick of throwing good money after bad. I have my teeth , I get x-rays and cleanings every six months. and I have pain at times. Boy- False teeth are so different today than they were years ago. No one could even tell, bj. I bet you will be smiling and smiling and smiling all the time now. That is a really cute pillow. I think I have to go to Big Lots. It is across town here and I think I have only ever been there once or twice.

ReplyDeleteBig lots has neat decor, but really deceptive on their prices about saving more than something like walmart. Ollies (if you have one) deals more with true factory rejects/overstock
ReplyDeleteGood luck. It will take a while to get used to them and maybe need an adjustment or two down the road but they will be great. By the way, they look awesome!!!
ReplyDeletePretty lady, BJ! Your new teeth are great. My mother had full dentures from age 37 (12 pregnancies, pre-flouride) until she died at 86. You look great. And I love Big Lots too! They have great home decor (and dishware!!), but ya gottat get there quick when they change over seasonal stuff or it's gone (and no wonder, with their great prices). Love your pillows. Happy Fall!

ReplyDeleteGirl I LOVE LOVE LOVE Big Lots. There is one within WALKING distance of my house. I saw that SAME pillow there but had just bought some pillow covers in the same colors on eBay so I didn't get it. I go in there for two things and always come out with ten. Yes, their candles are always a great deal and their seasonal decorations you can't beat the prices. We've even bought our outdoor furniture there and some smaller pieces for indoors too and they've all held up really well.

I haven’t been to Big Lots since my husband passed away. He always liked to go and rummage around and look at things. I can’t believe the cute things that you found. As far as those gumdrops, oh my! I am absolutely crazy about gumdrops! I’m assuming these came from the Vermont Country Store, am I right? I am going to have to treat myself to some of those. I find them irresistible. I hope my teeth stay in place while I eat them. I’m glad your dental work is behind you, I hope you’re feeling better.

ReplyDeleteYour smile is beautiful! No pain? Wow! I am impressed! I had to go back several times for tweaking and then they did something or other after about 6 weeks. But I had bottom ones pulled too. Now that’s a game changer! I had no choice and am grateful for modern dentistry. I’ve had upper dentures since I was 18 years old. Good grief! Who needs dentures that young?? Well, I did!
Your smile is as sweet as it always was! I love your pillows - and you could take the stuffing out of it and make it into a pillow cover if you really need to save space. If not, just sit back and enjoy it just the way it is! I feel motivated to head to Big Lots now. For some reason!
