I AM A STALKER.
I stalk several blogs and one of my favorite,
♥
I introduced her and her COTTAGE BY THE SEA
a few weeks ago when I copied her RUSTIC HEART WREATH.
This is her beauty....
on your left...
and mine on the right.
♥ ♥ ♥
By the way, people...
this is a fun project that is very easy.
If you'd like to give some for Christmas gifts, get to drying some pretty pink roses now and buy a package of wire...
you could have some adorable gifts ready and waiting for some of those on your list.
Back to the subject mentioned in the title of this post...
This a picture on her latest post and this room just takes
my breath away.....
*heavy sigh
see her adorable HAND sign on her wall....
HEY....WAIT A MINUTE...
I have a hand sign, too....
and never thought of using it in the house....
I about broke my neck getting outside and bringing my sign back inside.
I have the perfect little corner in my dining room...
just above the BENCH THAT BILL BUILT...
Thanks, CAROL, for all the cuteness you send my way....
xoxo,
bj

Rooting these Sweet Potato Vine cuttings in water for my DEEDS...
she loves plants and especially if she can get them started with roots...
I love you, Deeds......
I am always inspired by Carol's posts, she has such a wonderful, sweet, colorful way with decorating. I love both of your hearts and look forward to making one myself, one of these days.
ReplyDeleteLove your hand. Isn't amazing how reading blogs and seeing photos can trigger our own decorating skills and memories as to what we might be able to decorate with right within our own stash of stuff?
Have a great week dear BJ ~ FlowerLady
Looks like a beautiful blog all right! I imagine your friend copied someone, too. We all do it to varying degrees of success. I haven’t had an original thought in my life since 1984. 😉 You have some lovely pieces that Bill built. Love that bench!
ReplyDeleteBJ, I have been coping from Carol of Art And Sand . I usually coping her centerpiece displays. She is a great decorator. I love that you brought your hand sign inside. It looks great there above Bill's bench. I have yet to make my wire heart. I have some copper wire here somewhere, that I had planned to use. Girl is I ever get mine done I will post it LOL Sweet little Deeds' is into plants...that just makes me smile. Blessings to you BJ, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteI always buy sweet potato plants every spring. I didn't know you could root them. I may have to try it.

ReplyDeleteNice plant project
ReplyDeleteI love Art and Sand, too, and I’ve actually thought you and she would be kindred spirits because I get some of the same vibes from you both! I wish I could wrinkle my nose and slip into her photos and wander around her home!
ReplyDeleteRecognized the Sweet Potato... (grew one as a kid... took over one whole side of Mom's kitchen... lol
ReplyDeleteHope that you and yours are well, dear Lady... and Hello from Marshville
The sweet potato vines are going to grow like crazy. I am thinking of asking my neighbour for a cutting or two and seeing if I can overwinter them.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Hi, BJ! Yes, to Art and Sand, lovely blog! Lots of inspiration all around. What a sweet bench, and the pillows are perfect on it. The sweet potato vines are doing great!

This is one of the best posts about what blogging can do for us...we share our ideas, creativity, our homes and gardens. We are teachers, students, stalkers(!!!!), and huge fans of all who share their lives.
ReplyDeleteI love Carol, her home reflects her sweet personality and free spirit. I love how you have gotten the same vibe going on, and that you are using the bench your dear Bill made.
Love to you, BJ!

Love, love, love that bench BJ. I will check out Carol's blog. Such beautiful things you have shared today. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteLove the wired rose wreath, bj, and your sign looks perfect above your bench built by your sweetie. It's so nice how we give and receive inspiration, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYour house is so cute! Isn't it fun when we find inspiration from friends?!
ReplyDeleteI went stalking over at Art and Sand too . .
ReplyDeleteLove her new white living room look . . .
Now I am back here with you and let me tell you,
I love your Hand Sign . . .
Perfect in its new spot . . .
(Like your little “Mister Sweet Bench” too!)
Oh you and Carol are both influencers (don't you love that word?) So much so that I went out and bought a package of wire. In fact it is sitting here by my computer laughing at me as I groaned when I saw another post with those beautiful wreaths you two made. I don't have the slightest idea of how to go about starting a wreath now that I have my package of wire so I might just paste a posey on it, thumb tack it to the wall and let it go at that! Love you both for your inspirations!! xxx J.
ReplyDeleteI adore Carol's blog too. You did a fantastic copy. Like the addition of your hand
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of your week
Cindy
I love Carol's blog too, and her latest post was terrific. Good on you for jumping on the inspiration bandwagon. I think all bloggers hope someone will love their idea so much they interpret it themselves!
ReplyDeleteThank you for introducing Carol's blog to us. I can't wait to spend time looking at all of her photos and reading the words she shares. I love what you did with your hand sign. It's perfect!
