I just won a most generous one over at CEDAR HILL FARMHOUSE blog and it was such a delightful one.
Anita is a very successful decorator and her blog is like going thru a fabulous decorating magazine.
When my package arrived at our
Summer House, it felt like Christmas....
A vintage grain sack...
very, very large and I am so proud of it.
It is long enuf to use as a runner...
and someone suggested to me to fill if with Fiber Fill for
a fantastic body pillow....
so many things to use it for.

Also included in my treasure box was
ANITA'S
FRENCH ACCENTS hardback book...
It's a GORGEOUS book and I am really proud of it.

....page after beautiful page of the most delightful photos...
and she shows us how to decorate in the french style.
And...
if all the above wasn't enuf,
she added a jar of
Natural ONE STEP PAINT

GRAY.
Thank you so much for sending me such a wonderful box of goodies, ANITA.
♥ ♥ ♥
I hope my friends will go over to visit ANITA and let her know
you saw this amazing giveaway here at bj's Sweet Nothings.
Mr. Sweet is still handling his cancer treatments very well.
The daily Chemo has not made him sick even one day...
(we thank our Heavenly Father)
♥
the radiation ...
it makes him tired at the end of the 5 days a week
but with Saturday and Sundays off,
he seems to be able to gather his strength to battle another 5 days of it.
At the end of 5 to 6 weeks of radiation,
he will have more MRI's and Cat Scans
to determine if the amount of radiation is
doing it's best to shrink that ole tumor.
We thank you so much in praying with us that
Mr. Sweet's cancer will go into remission and
he will once again be able to walk without the aid of the walker...
that he will once again be the strong man that he has always been...
and that our Heavenly Father will always cover him in blessings.
Love, bj
I am so tickled you won the giveaway, bj! What a bright spot in the day for you -especially with all you have going on! Praying for Mr.Sweet and I am thrilled that he is doing so well handling the chemo. The radiation is very tiring...and I think exhaustion from treatments is just a big part of the process....but....you will get through this-one day at a time. I will be anxious to hear about his follow up appts after the radiation. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the win BJ.
ReplyDeleteGlad that Mr. Sweet is doing so well throughout this time. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.
God bless.
A perfect surprise in a time of need. Sometimes the nicest things happen when we least expect it. So pleased that things are going well for Mr. Sweet and you. Hang in as it will get better.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed it BJ. Thanks for the lovely shout out!! And happy to hear the treatments for your husband are going well. Praying for complete healing.
ReplyDeleteYes, and amen. Continued prayers for Mr. Sweet and you bj!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know he was on a walker. When my dad went through cancer when I was little, I remember his crutches with great detail. He spent the majority of his illness in them. By the time he was wheel-chair bound, he didn't spend much time in it before he went to the hospital and never came out of it. I hope everything goes well for you two.
ReplyDeleteI think its great that you two are in this to win it - keep up the positive attitudes because they make a real difference! You never know which way the road will turn, but you don't have to let it get the best of you when it gets bumpy. I think you and your family are amazing and I am pulling for you! And congrats on your win - what treasure indeed!!
ReplyDeleteJust what you need at this time to boost the spirits a bit. Sending many prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteOh that was a sweet win! You will have to share all the ways that you are going to incorporate the French style. What a blessing that Mr. Sweet is handling his meds and treatments well. Always in my prayers... God is so good all the time.

Thank you, Sweet Friend, for posting the blog post on your Facebook. I'm delighted to see so many of your friends coming by to read it, and know how much still another reader/follower of yours values your sweet spirit and happy heart and SASSY ways. I jotted Miss Marthy's letter down this afternoon, cooked supper, we ate and watched a little TV, then came back at bedtime to FOURTEEN comments! What a fun evening, seeing all those folks gathering round who love you both so much.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate Nana Diana's sending the link to you, for I couldn't find an address to let you know yet.
I send you both prayers and good thoughts for the healing, strengthening days ahead.
