I have this little birdbath looking pretty good.....
tucked in with the colorful flowers, it feels right at home...
green for water...
blue for bird seed...
...a thought crossed my mind after I started making this little treasure...
Athena, the Great Dane loves water...we can barely water the flowers for her wanting to drink from the hose...
she is going to want to drink the water, just sure as the world...
and as big as Athena is, over comes the whole thing.......
I may just put a beautiful plant in it for the time being...
that will be pretty, too..
Mr. Sweet votes to not put anything in it...he likes the looks of it just like this..

The glue isn't quite cured so I have a few rocks propping up the little one.
having a project turn out as cute as you hoped it would ....xoxo

bj it turned out so cute. I love all the colors and the pots of flowers look great!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! No matter which way you use it, it's going to look awesome!
ReplyDeleteMary
looks really good
ReplyDeleteLove it bj. Looks so pretty. LOL about Athena using it for a drinking fountain!!! My daughters Great Dane would do the same thing.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th.
Kris
BJ, That is the cutest thing. I wish I had looked at this when My daughter was here. She could make one for her yard. Great job. Blessings for a fun weekend, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, the colors are perfect. I hope you put water in it for the birds, sometimes water is scarce for them. Yesterday I used the hose to fill our bird bath and while I was doing that and standing one foot away a scrub jay flew in and stood in the water.
ReplyDeleteAs we said, very creative use of materials, dear Lady... Hope that all is well with you and yours....
ReplyDeleteMy Niece is in hospital (about to have a little girl).... so, we will be a Great Uncle (again)...
I love the bird bath and the colors are stunning. Kust put lotsof flowers around the bird bath and she can't get close to it.
ReplyDeleteHappy fourth.....
Hugs,
Mary
How neat! You are very creative. I have a small dog that wouldn't mess with it, so just drop it off at my house. :)
ReplyDeleteHi BJ, this turned out so cute. I think it would be pretty planted with hens and chickens, or to use as an end table to set your summer lemonade on :) Your yard is beautiful, so well groomed and no weeds. How do you do it?
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July!
Connie :)
Adorable. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI like this. Your colors are much prettier. Would be a shame if it was destroyed by the dog.
ReplyDeleteSo adorable. I just might have to make one too!
ReplyDeleteBJ, you did it! It turned out so pretty! The colors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty bj. It would be pretty with all three levels filled with fresh water for the birds. They would love to bath in it too. The little red bird in the top saucer looked really cute. Good luck in keeping Athena away from it. Mr. Sweet may just have the best answer to the problem.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Happy fourth.
Audrey
Looks wonderful bj . . .
ReplyDeleteAnd your plantings are so full and colorful!
Great pics!
Good job. The colors say BJ.
ReplyDeleteA project well done bj! Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat work BJ!! I say a little plant, but then I seem to gravitate towards living things.
ReplyDeleteHope Athena doesn't decide to take a drink from it.
God bless.
Hello bj, I did not get to visit last week for Blue Monday because the internet came up and went down again. It was finally fixed 2 days ago, permanently so they say. I pray they are right.
ReplyDeleteYour bird bath is so pretty. I know you had a wonderful time making it. The colors are awesome. What kind of glue did you use? I love it to pieces. Everything is colorful and so cheerful. Athena better not come near it. Smile.
Happy 4th of July to you and yours.
Love,
Jeanne

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!!! Love it. Happy Fourth of July to you and yours, B.J.!! Hugs, J.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking past the birdbath to all that grass you have to mow. Wow! Just wow!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and colorful. Really adds to the area. I know you enjoy doing these things, but please be careful of the heat. We had a terrible storm this morning and has cooled things down.
ReplyDeleteBJ, I popped over to return the visit and I just love your little birdbath! I wish you a great week!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, BJ! Love the colors. Happy 4th!...Christine
ReplyDeletedropping by to wish a happy 4th to you and yours, dear Lady...and Hello from Marshville...
ReplyDeleteLeave it to you to make something so pretty and colorful!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I think I am going to try and make one soon!! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable bird bath! I've seen others made with plant pots but what makes yours extra special, aside from the color, is the seed and whatever suits your fancy holders. Pinning to share :)
ReplyDeleteI love your birdbath! In fact, I think I need to copy it ... perhaps even down to the colors you chose! Funny about Athena :-) My sister's dog (who comes to stay with me occasionally) also likes drinking from a running hose, or even a sprinkler, lol. Her horse has also been known to stand in the sprinkler - they know how to handle the heat :-)
ReplyDeleteThat birdbath is so colorful and cute. Thanks for sharing and I love all those pretty flowers you shared too. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO cute! I hope the birds enjoy it and give you a show while they splash and play!
ReplyDelete~Adrienne~
Did you make this? I know you did -- and it is utterly, totally fabulous and now I MUST try! Happy July!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such a colourful birdbath before. A grand addition to the flower colours.
ReplyDeleteNice colors! My little dog also drinks from anything outside...
ReplyDeleteBJ! So, so pretty! Love the colors. You rocked this one, girl!!
