What a fantastic trip we had to OREGON with our kids,
STACY 'n JENT
in October.
I'm joining and supporting
with photos from our awesome trip.
water flowing into
THE DEVILS CHURN....
...then it flows back into the magical ocean...
I can't explain the feeling I had, standing up high, seeing the fury of the waves
rushing into the CHURN...
the spray on my face...
the sounds of water beating against the rocks...
feeling very, VERY close to God .
The SeaGull was so tame...
people fed them on this ledge .......
Stacy didn't have anything we thought safe to feed this one....
As I am counting this rock SEA WALL as a FENCE,
I'll be joining TEX for GOOD FENCES THURSDAY

bj, I went to Portland for the first time in July and loved the northwest.
ReplyDeleteWe all need to see more of our beautiful country. Remember the add from our youth... See the USA in your Chevrolet...
ReplyDeleteImpressive sights like those are what I call "How Great Thou Art" moments. I cannot imagine the sound and spray and sheer POWER of that great force---another awesome bit of our beautiful world I'd never heard of, yet it goes on through the ages and eons, surges and recedes, pounds and foams, without the least help or notice from little us.
ReplyDeleteHope you and yours are having a wonderful Thanksgiving season!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun you are having. Oregon is my dream state ~ especially the Oregon coast. My very favorite spot is Bandon by the Sea. Bandon Dunes golf course is there so David can play gold to his heart's content and I can walk up and down the beach for hours. Bentley loves it too!
ReplyDeleteBig Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
