Fresh flowers = HAPPY

We don't have a cutting garden here at the Summer House.
David and Kathy planted several rose bushes this year and
by next summer, they should be ready for cutting.

Also....
we are building a GREEN HOUSE......
and I am sure happy about that.
We can grow so many things thru the wintertime and
have big pots of beautiful flowers for the summertime.

Since summertime just MEANS flowers....

Aren't these so lovely....

"Is that a drink dispenser those flowers are in ?, you ask....

Why, yes...I do believe it is.
I have not located my tall, glass vases since we moved
and so...................

At our local market, these flowers are
2 bunches for $6.00

They are my favorite market flowers and at that price,
I can get two bunches ea week throughout the summer.
(did you notice the cute Kleenex box..?  I seem to have a thing about
Kleenex boxes...I love cute ones)

...always a snack around the Summer House.
This is just canned crescent  rolls, buttered, sugared, cinnamoned and baked.
ummmm
I'm having so much fun finding the cutest paper plates for summer.
I love these...and they match our dining room so well...

I ws so thrilled to find this adorable rug for the entry door...

it matches our large dining room rug in colors....

love it...

XOXOXO, bj

I've had several emails asking about this adorable pillow...
so sorry I didn't add that it came from LUCY at
CRAFTBERRY BUSH
She is such a fantastic artist and has her paintings on pillow covers
as well as other things.
I just received 8 more covers that I ordered from her for
Christmas gifts and they are every one so stinkin' cute, I can't stand it.

  28. Why build a green house? It'd be much easier to just paint your current house green.

In all seriousness, every-time I think of Green Houses I think of Frosty the snowman melting in one. That never made sense, I not only did not know greenhouses work extremely well in extreme cold and barely any sun but they just found one in the middle of nowhere with no houses or buildings near it.

  34. Ohhh--a green house will be wonderful to have! Both of my brothers have them as they love to grow vegetable gardens. I wish I could have one but we get hail too often with storms and I'm sure that would not be good for a glass house ;).
