HOLY COW....
this guy was one of my favorite singers back in the mid 60's.
He wore tight, TIGHT
clothes to show off that body...
I mean...just LOOK at it....
pretty close to perfect, I'd say.
It doesn't hurt a thing when you can sing like he does and be good looking, too......
no sir ree bob...!!
....he's 72 yrs. old now and a friend just went to
one of his concerts and said
"HE STILL HAS IT..."
I heard him sing on the Grammys the other night
and he can still sing as good as ever !

and I
happen to think he's still a hunk...
an older one but still............♥ ♥ ♥
I refuse to "throw them aside" as they age...
HEY...we all get old.
***
HUNK....slang....meaning a well-built, sexy man
besides being SO talented.

Oh- I love Tom Jones. I was lucky enough to see him perform back in the early 70's in Florida. He was mesmerizing...and the women were throwing their underwear up on the stage. lol Not me....and yes. I DID have underwear on-thanks for asking. He looks darn good for his age even now!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week, bj. xo Diana
He was obviously before my time, but I do know who he is, and have heard of few of his songs.
ReplyDeleteHello bj, Tom Jones still haves it and my fave is Green, Green, Grass of Home. Love your yummy dessert as well.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet comment about my grands. They are wonderful young adults and we are so blessed to have them in our life.
We just saw Frankie Avalon and he was awesome. He has 8 children with the same wife. They live near my friend who lives in LA, CA. His voice is still great.
We are staying warm even though our weather is terrible. Our driveway is a solid sheet of ice. Guess we will be in for a few days. Hope you are all well and keeping warm.
Love, Jeanne

I am also in love with Boz Scaggs now. Would you believe they are 4 years apart almost to the day! Their birthdays are one day apart in June! Oldies but GOODIES they are!!

I haven't heard a Tom Jones song in ages. I have to agree though, he still has it :>) That strawberry cake is calling my name. I'm trying not to answer.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me smile. He was one of my mother's favs, too. She loved Engelbert Humperdinck, too.
ReplyDeleteI always loved Tom Jones...my sisters and I loved to watch him dance too...hehe. He is still handsome... looks like he may have had some work done on his eyes....but hey, that's OK :) I loved the TV shows back in day...they were all about entertainment. Oh, and that cake looks SO good!
ReplyDeleteHe was one of favorite as well. I still enjoy hearing him. However, most loved was Dean Martin.
ReplyDeleteBut of course I am fan! We share the same favorite song of his. I emailed you..
ReplyDeleteMe.
I remembered some of those songs, but my favorite was "The Green Green Grass of Home" and I agree that he's still a handsome man. I admire women who remain fashionable and cute!
ReplyDeleteOh I always liked Tom Jones too. He has a beautiful voice. I heard him sing at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee a couple years ago (not in person, on TV) and he was amazing. He's still got it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard women use to go so crazy over him that they would rip his clothes off. He's handsome but I never did see quite what the over zealous women saw in him. I agree though that I never give up on good looking men as they age. (ie: Mark Harmon, Robert Redford, Sean Connery)
ReplyDeleteI must agree...he was and is still a "hunk"!! AND a great singer to boot!
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Gert
Oh, he's definitely a hunk, always has been, always will be.
ReplyDeleteWhat a voice too. Too bad I missed the Grammys this year.
Great post, and thank you for stopping by.
