My thanks to all who so generously made my heart feel better about losing my cousin.
I am putting up another post early because I am too sad to look at the cousin post any longer.
THANK YOU !

THANK YOU !
My good blogging friend, SYLVIA, over at A GRANDMA'S BLESSINGS,
did a post on JANUARY being
NATIONAL HOT TEA MONTH
Now, don't all us tea lovers LUV THAT !! ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanking her for telling us about this fun celebration of the month, I told Sylvia that I didn't know that January was the month of National Hot Tea
and that I had to HURRY to get in a tea post before the end of the month.
♥
“What kind of tea do you want?"
"There´s more than one kind of tea?...What do you have?"
"Let´s see... Blueberry, Raspberry, Ginseng, Sleepytime, Green Tea, Green Tea with Lemon, Green Tea with Lemon and Honey, Liver Disaster, Ginger with Honey, Ginger Without Honey, Vanilla Almond, White Truffle Coconut, Chamomile, Blueberry Chamomile, Decaf Vanilla Walnut, Constant Comment and Earl Grey."
-"I.. Uh...What are you having?... Did you make some of those up?”
♥
The following photos were from a post done a few years back,
honoring MY MOTHER.
“My hour for tea is half-past five, and my buttered toast waits for nobody.”
“There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea.”
"A woman is like a tea bag--you can't tell how strong she is until
you put her in hot water."

There's many ways to use your beautiful tea cups....
candles look magical in a pretty cup...
and tea, of course, just seems to taste a tad bit better in a beautiful cup.

HAPPY NATIONAL HOT TEA MONTH,

Thanks for the shout out,Bj! and you got it in just in time! Now that Liver Disaster Tea,don't sound like that's something I want but the White Truffle Coconut sounds delicious, I'll have that in one of your many beautiful teacups....will take me a while to get there since Georgia is a few miles from Texas!
ReplyDeletelove the eleanor roosevelt quote. :) i like a cup of hot green tea in the evenings in the winter time. :) comfy, cozy.
ReplyDeleteBJ, I used to have spicy orange tea with my friend at work. I enjoy your wonderful photos. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeletebj ... you really know how to make 'tea-time' special with a pretty table, beautiful china and a great choice of tea.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Audrey Z.
It certainly seems appropriate for it to be hot tea month, I have been drinking more than the usual cup to stay warm. Your photos are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI guess I was out of town and missed you losing your cousin...so sorry...I love my cousins and I would be so sad too!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is ICE tea - I rarely drink anything hot! What a wonderful post about your cousin Keith - I too had a cousin who I was madly in love with when i was very young!! Keep all of your wonderful memories close to your heart!
ReplyDeleteI love some Lemon Zinger tea.
ReplyDeleteThat was the sweetest post! You know me, I love my tea and I like to try different flavors. I always have a pot of hot tea in the morning and several cups throughout the day. Happy tea drinking, bj.
ReplyDeleteWe have our tea in the afternoon, but I have to confess I always drink ice tea (winter and summer) with breakfast.
ReplyDeleteYour post reminds me of when I go to my friends house and she ask's me if I would like a cup of tea. Knowing of coarse I do! she then proceeds to read off a list of every tea she has in her cupboard. That is all part of sharing tea time.
ReplyDeleteSweet post, I love tea. I think your photos are gorgeous and a fitting tribute to your Mom. I am so glad you re-shared your photos so I had the chance to enjoy them.
ReplyDeleteBe well, be happy sweet BJ.
I'm a coffee drinker but occasionally I like to have tea ( like right now.. you put me in the mood for a cup), my family makes fun of me.. they say I ruin the tea by putting coffee creamer in it. I say.. It's yummy that way!! : )
ReplyDeleteLovely tea cup collection.
I missed the post about your cousin.. I am very very sorry for your loss.
Hugs from Baltimore.
I've never been a fan of tea. In kindergarten we took a field trip to Pizza Inn (which is a seriously lazy idea for a field trip) and all they served us was tea. So I would never ask to go to Pizza Inn because I thought (for years) that they only served tea.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your cousin..but on the way to tea. Those cups are absolutely beautiful! We are going to have tea this weekend on my birthday celebration downtown. So excited!
ReplyDeleteJane xx
My choice from your list would be Earl Grey, but my all time favorite - which I can only find when I'm home in England and I stock up on it - is Empress Grey! Yes tea definitely needs to be sipped from a china cup and saucer, never a clunky mug - we always stop for 4 PM tea time when at home, it's a tradition I love.
ReplyDeleteHugs - Mary
What a pretty post and I love my tea too. I've discovered a Lady Grey Tea that is so good. Love all of your snaps and I'm still keeping you in my prayers as your heart begins to heal.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Love your tea post. Even my dad preferred tea in a china cup.
ReplyDeleteGood morning bj, this is such a sweet post. I actually love Thai tea. A new one for you. Smile. I love your sentimental words about your mom. I will miss my mom til the day I die. My dad too. The pretty tea cup photos are special just like you.
ReplyDeleteI read your sad post about the loss of your cousin Keith. He was handsome in his old age too. I'm sorry for your loss dear.
Have a happier week.
Love you bunches,
Jeanne
Very nice post on tea. Really liked the quotes and your photos are great. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteYesterday my daughter and I had a pot of Earl Grey while we watched all the episodes of Downton Abbey. Right now I'm having Ginger and Lemon tea to soothe my sore throat. Love post on tea, bj!
ReplyDeleteRick and I are both highly addicted to tea, lol... so much so that we grew a lot of things to make our own tea last summer - chamomile, peppermint, even stevia! Beautiful post as always... xo
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are: Earl Grey, Mint and Licorice flavored teas.
ReplyDeleteI just tell my SIL that it's tea month. She just started drinking tea this week, as she was dick from her chemo treatment. My favorite is peppermint tea. Soothes the tummy and the soul!
ReplyDeleteBJ,
ReplyDeleteDear friend, I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss of your cousin.

Eleanor Roosevelt is my favorite First Lady!!!
Hold your memories close to your heart, dear one.
