"If people see me having dinner with a beautiful woman, they immediately believe that I'm having a love affair with her.
Of course, that's RUBBISH. I'm not a playboy..!"
George Clooney
"If you're going to make RUBBISH, be the best RUBBISH in it."
Richard Burton
"Networking is RUBBISH; have friends instead."
Steve Winwood
Being a blogger, I STRONGLY DISAGREE with that quote.
Some of my BEST FRIENDS are thru the net.

And, to all you talented DIY'ers and FAIRY GARDENERS....
I keep eyeing that olden trashy WHEELBARROW....
....should I get it off the trailer before son hauls it all to the dump..??
...what would I REALLY do with it, especially thru the long winter..??
....should I get it off the trailer before son hauls it all to the dump..??
...what would I REALLY do with it, especially thru the long winter..??
do I REALLY want it ?...........nooo.....NOT REALLY.
(as soon as he hauls it off, some of you will have the BEST ideas
what to do with an old, beat up wheelbarrow and I'll kick myself..)
Eehhhh!!! Go get the wheelbarrow back!!
ReplyDeleteI think my quote would be "If people see me having dinner with a beautiful woman, they immediately believe that's she my cousin and then they ask for her number".
ReplyDeleteI was going to say you could fill it up with flowers- something cascading down one side..:)
ReplyDeleteYes bj plant flowers in it. Have a blessed evening. Madeline
ReplyDeleteWell, I wish I lived closer I would grab that wheelbarrow before you could say Jack Rabbit! I love them turned on their sides with dirt spilling out of them and planted with flowers by a mailbox.....or...my own is a fairy garden. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteit would make a great garden planter. :)
ReplyDeleteYou can make the best flower bed in it!! But, I bet it's too late now !
ReplyDeleteHa, something tells me "someone" will be planting flowers in that wheel barrow.
ReplyDeleteOh that wheel barrow will make a wonderful garden planter. :)
ReplyDeleteWith your ideas, no doubt you can make great use of the old wheelbarrow. I have seen them in several yards around here. Junk makes nice yard decorations.
ReplyDeleteOne man's junk is another man's treasure. Right?
ReplyDeleteIf it is not gone already, it would be a cute place to put some hay and a few pumpkins near your front door...
ReplyDeletewish that my wheelbarrow looked that good. Tom The Backroads Travell
ReplyDeleteI am thrilled to see your pool cover here! I have never used mine not once and cannot stand the thought of throwing it away. But when I looked on ebay (to consider selling..Craig's list too) it's not worth the hassle! and much to big to put on the curb! You've inspired me!!!
ReplyDeleteSpray it with red rustoleum. Fill it with greens and Cmas things and solar lights, perfect for Cmas, and July 4th , it can be for flowers or an ice bucket! Grab it quick!
ReplyDeleteLove the Richard Burton quote! Great old trashy wheelbarrow, but it looks like it needs to wheel on over to the dump! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, I have a lot of "friends" through blogging and I cherish them. I have a question. When we lived in Lubbock, a favorite outing with friends (infrequent because we all had small children) was to shop at Margaret's and have lunch at the Crepe Suzette. Are, by some small chance, they are still there? Such fond memories!!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
Go get that wheelbarrow! Really sweet!!! Now in my humble opinion friends connect and live in our hearts wherever friendships are found..
ReplyDeleteI think it would be beautiful with flowers in it. Wish I had a junky old wheelbarrow to do that with!
ReplyDeleteI am betting you have already pulled that wheel barrow off that wagon and his it from your son!! I would make a planter out of it!
ReplyDeleteoh i think you should definitely go get that wheelbarrow!
ReplyDeletebj if you have somewhere to put the wheelbarrow for now till you decide to do with, get it off the rubbish pile before it goes to the dump...teehehe.
ReplyDeleteOh my...look at all those good ideas for that wheelbarrow! It's funny but my fingers want to spell it wheelbarrel. Must have been what I called it growing up. Great post for Rubbish!
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes, BJ....don't you wonder what there was about the new MS Clooney that finally trapped that bachelor after all the other women who have paraded through the tabloids with him>
ReplyDeleteOh yes BJ it is a keeper!!!!!! Go check out wheel-barrel on Pinterest great ideals!!!
ReplyDeleteA friend of ours gave us an old one, similar to your junk one! Tom painted it, and we plant flowers in it every year! (Except this year.) I know you're honey could really make something bootiful! Lol
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Gert
ReplyDeleteA planter is what I thought of too ... petunias maybe. Junk is in the eye of the beholder.
If you released the wheelbarrow, do not feel bad. Of course, all these ideas are super, but so also is the deep breath of air and internal peace from releasing too too much stuff... I so need to learn this. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteNow that's fine rubbish! I agree. I've met some really great friends via blogging.
ReplyDeleteI remember having such fun with a wheelbarrow when I was growing up.
ReplyDeleteWe would take turns going for a ride in such a one as that.
The wheelbarrow was the first thing I noticed. lol I would have kept it, but you might not have a good place for it.
