We woke up to a bit of cloudy day and LOVED IT.
I love a cloudy day !
We can enjoy a little SUNshine if we are really looking for it, cloudy or not.
"Your attitude is like a box of crayons that color your world.
Constantly color your picture GRAY, and your picture will always be bleak.
Try adding some BRIGHT colors to the picture by including HUMOR and your picture begins to lighten up."
Allen Klein
I believe this with all my heart.
As the clouds gathered....
I started.....
I am so loving these bright, POOL SIDE colors here at the SUMMER HOUSE.
Most of you know how much I am a
SEMI-HOMEMADE kind of gal.
I love this microwave bacon so much
I want to marry it.
Oh, sure....it's expensive...
but
no mess
no grease splatters to clean up..
easy to get to just the doneness you like best.
There's nothing (at least to MY taste buds) any better than these
BUTTERMILK EGGO WAFFLES.
"Let go of my Eggo !!"

Google it and listen to a bit of sunshine by an awesome artist.
This cute coffee cup from PIER 1
made even DUNKIN DONUTS coffee taste a bit better...:)
I'm not one for SYRUP so I generally like jelly with my waffles.
Sweet girl, STACY LEIGH
brought this jar of
BLUEBERRY SPREAD to me from one of her trips.
It is sooo good.
UMMMM......

i enjoyed overcast today, too! we got a spot of rain yesterday for which i was very grateful. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a delicious breakfast to me!
ReplyDeletei love your mug - all those polka dots. ( :
ReplyDeletei love a rainy night, day or whatever ... rain is a good thing!! big big hugs.
Awesome stuff. Is that your pool? If so, I'm jealous! We obviously use our microwave a lot, since we've broken the handle on it after only seven years.
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny and coolish here today. Heavenly. We had bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches for dinner tonight. I love that precooked bacon so much that I could marry it, too. You are right. It is a bit expensive, but so worth it. No hot stove to stand in front of, no grease mess to walk back and forth and clean up after. Today was perfectly cool for gardening. I was not just about to waste my "before my knee starts to hurt" time by frying bacon. Our precooked B, with lettuce and tomato sandwiches were great.
ReplyDeleteyour eggos come out better than mine for some reason, Haven't bought some in years, but most of the ones I remember having were more grey than golden. The only ones I really liked were the mini-eggos since they'd taste fresh and were golden in color
ReplyDeleteI like a cloudy day as well...but i am not a big eggo fan.
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I love that bacon too. It is so fast when your busy with other more time consuming recipes! This was a wonderful post as always. Have a wonderful week,
ReplyDeleteSherry
Hi: You make the post sunny! Love the cute mugs. I will have to try that bacon. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteoh that cup is adorable! I don't have a Pier 1 nearby, but they do have cute things. enjoy your breakfast!
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to think how many people don't realize that they make their own sunshine or cloudy days. It's just a matter of choice! Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteWonderful post and attitude. One year, "finding the sunshine" was my yearly motto. I really does work to just inject some light into your day in any way you can do it. I loved that post about crayons and coloring. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteI love your outlook on life! You always bring sunshine in your post! Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteI went the orchard yesterday for fresh blueberries . . . stop over, I will make you some blueberry pancakes!
ReplyDeleteAlways cheering to visit you, Sunshine! =D
ReplyDeleteWhile reading this wonderful post so bright and full of sunshine and the wonderful breakfast foods I was eating an orange. I had my breakfast a little earlier and after I take my morning walk I come in and check the blogs I follow and have an orange. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteOf course I had to visit you, and you gave me a sunshine attitude, a good breakfast, and then much need rain. You made my day sweet.♥
ReplyDeleteoh our glorious rain!
ReplyDeleteHope you got your share of rain and can send some this way. Love how you can make your own personal sunshine.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Thursday,
Sherry
Hi bj,
ReplyDeleteEverything is ok in my world...well anyway, as good as can be expected. Nothing will ever be the same, but I have too many blessings in my life.
Your posts just bring sunshine to my life. Now you have me craving bacon and Eggo waffles for my breakfast tomorrow! xxoo
Hi BJ, I love this sunny post!
ReplyDeleteI love the sun and the `You're Awesome` cup.
I cook bacon the same way you do....no grease.
We don't eat a lot of bacon, so I think it's beneficial.
The pool looks inviting, even with the rain.
Have a great day, see you soon :)
You are awesome girl...to keep smiling even when the sun isn't shining on your back. Bacon and Eggo waffles sounds like a good suggestion to do here too. Keep being sassy! Don't let the world change your smile..

We've had very warm-for-July days here and a couple of overcast and rainy days last week were so welcome! I'd love to stop by and have breakfast with you any day, my friend! It always looks absolutely scrumptious!
