Winter Sun warms my Soul

We have had sun mixed with clouds these last few days...
and nice warm temps....

still cold in the evenings and mornings, tho.

Lots of sunshine coming thru those blinds...

We're really looking forward to summertime here at the SUMMER HOUSE.

Altho I am not a swimmer, I am going to LUV watching our grands have fun fun fun out there....

Sun pouring in on a favorite blog space....

Work going on in the vanity room..

...adding a nice, large window here...
this room is dark and this window is going to open it all up to light and
I'm gonna love it to the moon and back.

It will be the same color as we painted the large bedroom....

...a light, light  khaki color that I love so much I want to marry it...
it's NATURAL WICKER by ColorPlace at Walmart.

...did you notice the vintage shutters here...?
Yep, I brought them from the olden house...
love this big opening from bedroom to vanity room, flanked by the shutters.

and, speaking of SUNSHINE.....

XOXO bj

  11. Regardless of the weather, you always bring sunshine in your life and home. I am sure you will enjoy the pool. I am not a water person. I just sit and let my feet hang in the water. Never owned a bathing suit.
