I never thought I would say this....
I found something I love even BETTER
than.....
LEMON CURD
It's gotta be the
BEST
LEMON SAUCE....
EVER !
You HAVE to use fresh lemons to make this amazing
I-can-eat-it-with-a-spoon LEMON SAUCE.
Bottled lemon juice is good.....but doesn't compare to fresh lemon juice.
I like for my lemons to be a little bit soft...
you can really get all the juice.
I bought this little glass juicer at WALMART ....
i love it...
(don't forget to remove the lemon seeds before using your juice...:)
If you like LEMON....
and you use only FRESH LEMONS....
I cross my heart and hope to die
that you will CHERISH this recipe.....forever and ever, AMEN !
LEMON SAUCE TO CURL YOUR HAIR

Zest of ONE LEMON

Mix and cook over medium heat, all (except butter) until thick, stirring often.
Remove from heat and add butter.
Makes 1 1/2 cups of LUSCIOUS sauce.

Love lemon curd! Just give me a jar or bowl full and a spoon. Don't need another temptation like lemon sauce.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the recipe!
I think I have everything for this! And it looks like food for the gods! Your photos are perfect to set the heart for craving!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have try your recipe. It's different than ours, and seems easier, at least for me. I still have some good lemons on my tree.

ReplyDeleteLooks good, BJ! Lemons are .50 ea this week here, so I will wait till they come down! Love your header. Did you do it yourself? Very St. Patricky! Thanks again for linking to the blog crawl.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this bj ... looks like something I would love drizzled over a nice plain cake. Strawberries and lemon sauce??? Our friends gave us some lemons last week that were bigger than grapefruit and had 3/4 cup of juice in each. Made lemon pudding but still have some juice left.
ReplyDeleteYou make everything look so pretty and delicious.
Have a great week-end.
Hugs,
Audrey Z. @ Timeless Treasures
