It's time for Vee's Note Card Party and several other parties that I try to join as often as my posts let me.
Our weather here in WEST TEXAS was sooo cold a few weeks back.
COLD IN TEXAS

Yep! We don't have quite as much of the cold stuff as you, but we have our cold RAIN right now. It's definitely soup and jammie weather.
ReplyDeleteYou sure don't want to dip in that pool if there are icicles, LOL!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics for the note card party:) We are warming up here too! Have a blessed and beautiful day dear BJ, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI like your ideas, BJ! Soup, a good movie, hanging out on the couch with a warm throw ~ a perfect day! We are supposed to get some snow tonight and tomorrow, and I'm hoping it won't be much.

ReplyDeleteBJ, your note cards are so pretty! I miss the snowy season here in the Mediterranean, as I really cherish the four distinct seasons of the year! Now, your soup looks delicious, and your recipe for warm and cozy days is the best! Loved 'PS I Love You' and have watched another favourite, 'You've Got Mail' many a cold and blustery afternoon!

ReplyDeleteOh my, that doesn't look like the Texas you usually show! We had tortilla soup for dinner and right now I'm wearing my flannel jammies, wrapped in a quilt and drinking hot tea as I visit my blog friends:>) Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteBJ...great photos for your box of cards! I'm glad you used the soup at the end (which looks delicious, by the way) to warm us all up after we froze looking at the others!
ReplyDeleteThose cold scenes looks more like our neck of the woods around a week ago. It's been warmer the last few days but I'm sure the cold will return to us again, but I hope not for ya'll in TX, that doesn't seem quite right! Cute cards!
ReplyDeleteYou really have had a cold winter! BBBrrrr! Love the movies you mentioned, too. Nice photos for cards my friend!
ReplyDeleteWe have friends wintering in Texas in their RV, I wonder how they like the freeze you've had? I'm glad you're getting back to warmer temps, it's been milder here too and some of the huge piles of snow have melted down a bit.
ReplyDeleteFun 'Hello from Texas' note cards, and as for soup - the pot's on the stove.
I have to say that I've never seen pictures of Texas that look like yours. It must have been VERY cold. Soup is a wonderful meal in cold weather. Great photos that would make great note cards.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. I NEVER think of Texas as being cold-let alone having snow. We have a HUGE snowstorm on tonight- a scary one and I am glad I am safe and warm inside- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteDon't freeze! That soup looks great! Enjoy snuggling in and watching movies!

It's not often that one sees such images from the Lone Star State, so these were great choices for your note card set this month! I'd love to join you for a bowl of that yummy soup...but not for a dip in your pool!
