Summer Bits and Bobs, Part 2

If anyone had told me 2 years ago that I would go
almost a month without posting here,
I would have laughed out loud.

Things change, tho...
life changes...
and I am just trying to go with the flow.

Little Hudson is really turning into a little fish...
he, of course, wears a little life jacket type thing that helps keep him afloat,
but his little legs kick like crazy and he is learning as he goes.
Today...
he tried the slide BY HIM SELF and I was IN AWE...
not one bit afraid...

A friend and I went thrifting the other day....
first time I've been in awhile.
I found this adorable white pitcher
and even tho I have a TON of white dishes,
it was too cute to pass up....
and the 99cent price tag made me smile.

Summer isn't officially here yet,
but color is sure turning up around The Summer House.
♥ ♥ ♥

I've been working a little on my tiny patio....
I think I would like a much cuter potting bench...
going to keep an eye open for something much cuter...

Hope you all are having good spring weather.
I am so ready for full-fledged SUMMER.

  7. Made my day to see your blog for the day. Knowing you are alright is so good. I am lucky if I get my blog to work. Not involved all those things you do. Keep doing whatever makes you happy.

  8. Seeing Hudson on the slide I first read it as, "I tried the slide by myself..." :) I'm with you on the whole summer thing. While I was in San Diego it rained every single day and Seattle was sunny with temps in the 80s! Now that I'm back, Seattle is gray and rainy. I'm SO ready for summer!
