the desk of my dreams

i am typing with one hand here so no capital letters....
(that story for a future post) 

i've been wanting a desk for my bedroom for ages.
not just any old desk...

it had to be cute...
it had to be cute from front AND back !!!
and 
SOCIAL SECURITY is most happy when something is LOW priced !!!

sooo,
 
ah thrifting i did go...
 
 $20 will please even social security !!!



 i painted it black
and found this adorable wicker snail planter to sit in front of the desk.


 ...added a little cuteness here and there...



i love the pretty pull...





and have i mentioned we are going to have a new little
GREAT-GRANDGIRL
somewhere around the 1st of August ???
 
here's the two great-grandmothers with lacey at her shower....
she is sooo beautiful.

    First....Congrats! Do you crochet...I can suggest patterns for quick and simple in case you never tried. Second...I thought we were Sissy but apparently not or you got the 'clean' 'organized gen cuz my desk does not look like that. Your is is so pretty and organized! Thanks for sharing. XOXO
