Magnolia paint....

...even her paint can is cute !!

I was tickled to see that MAGNOLIA was printed on the paint stick.

It's way too cute to stir paint with
so I started searching places to show off the cuteness...
Here it's tucked in a drawer of my Wine Server....
when actually,
there is only a few bottles of wine there...
♥ ♥ ♥
Meyer Lemon Raspberry Skinny Syrups
and
Utterly Sensational Cloudy Lemonade....
both sooo good.

even the one in the Mackenzie*Childs wine sack
is a sugar free flavoring syrup....
Mr. Sweet bought this adorable wine sack for me
and one for our girl, Stacy
and one for our daughter in luv, Kathy.
He was such a sweet and thoughtful man....and I miss him !!

I got off track a bit there so...
back to "where to show off my Magnolia paint stick"

I COULD put it in this cute wire basket...

...or it might look cute here...

I'll leave it here, for the time being.
♥ ♥ ♥
I haven't found a painter yet to help me with the painting of the
shutter room divider.
As soon as I do, I will be so happy and will share it with YOU.

LOVE, bj

  2. You are right! That paint stick is way too adorable to stir paint. I use two paint sticks (stored in my crock of utensils) to roll out pie crust to the desired thinness. Mr. Sweet was a sweetheart. I love that you still share him here. We all miss him, though not as much as Mrs. Sweet and that’s for sure.

  5. I can’t wait to see the end results. Only you can make a paint stick look adorable. But again, it is pretty awesome.
Maybe somehow you can add a touch of the paint to the stick so you will always have a color sample.

  7. What color paint did you buy? I'm trying to decide on whether to try her paint for my kitchen cabinets!

  9. My first thought when I saw that the paint stick said Magnolia on it was, "Oh, she wouldn't stir the paint with that!" Haha, I was right. Who says wine racks can only hold wine? I think your rack is a great place to store your syrups and other drinks and yes, Mr. Sweet was certainly the sweetest. I can't wait to hear how you like the paint.

  12. I am assuming that's an old copy of Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine because the last I heard, she wasn't doing her magazine anymore. IF I'M WRONG, PLEASE CORRECT ME!!! (thank you)

As for the Magnolia paint stir stick, you are 100% correct -- it looks good any and everywhere!

  15. Such cuteness, there is no way I would use that stick to stir paint. Do you think Jo, knows her paints sticks are collector items?

Soon, you will have your very special divider painted a beautiful color , that will make your heart sing.

  18. I feel so much better that there's someone obsessed with a cute paint stirrer. I wouldn't be using this for sure. I don't know why, but when I get cute owns from Chalk paint stores I am giddy.

    See simple things make happiness.

  29. Oh BJ, only you could find such joy in a paint stick! However, I have to tell you that my dad was a housepainter and my favorite outings were Saturday's when he go to Benjamin Moore to buy his paint and I got to go with him. As we cleaned out our home this last summer among the things I refused to part with were my accumulation of Benjamin Moore paint sticks! Looking forward to seeing that divider! xx J.

  33. Well I'm with you -- that paint stick would NEVER touch a drop of actual paint! You're ideas for displaying it are all great. I'm sure it must be bittersweet to have such wonderful gifts and reminders of Mr. Sweet. Those who have not experienced the loss can't really understand. Grateful you have family who are there to encourage you.

  34. Hi bj -

A suggestion for your cute paint stick?

Maybe you could screw small hooks into it and let it hand your measuring cups? Or necklaces?

Did you like the paint? Have you used it yet?
