The Potting Shed

Mr. Sweet and son, David, built a workshop, storage room and greenhouse...
all in one building, back in 2015.

Some call them greenhouses...
some of us call them
 potting sheds...
I love the term potting shed....it's much more romantic.

In 2015, father and son  embarked on THE BUILDING
and, boy, do we all love it.

I went out today (4/23/'18 )
to see how things were blooming out there.

...when I go out and see how pretty all the blooms look, I get sooo anxious to put them outside...

on the patio...
around the pool...

but we've been known to have a light freeze in April so we need to wait until the middle of May.

...this little pretty pink flower came up in the gravel on the ground
of the potting shed.....
probably from a seed dropping from a potted plant.

Everything is looking pretty good out there...
the geraniums are always so pretty...
and easy to grown.

I worked up an appetite  just looking .....

...back inside for a Broccoli Slaw Salad and fresh fruit.

Hope YOUR day is going good....

  21. I remember that “build” and the pictures . . .
Oh my, how fast things changed after that for Mr Sweet, and for you . . .. . .
    Memories . . .

I agree . . . “potting shed” is much more romantic than “green house!”

(Kind of like “garden house” is much more romantic” than “storage house.”)

  27. I think I would put a comfy wicker chair with a cushion and a little table in the potting shed. Then I would call it my conservatory! It's beautiful with the gorgeous blooms and your snack plate looks delightful.
