since my favorite room is my pretty kitchen
and my dining area, i just wanted to share
some things there that make me happy....
my kitchen has so much storage... with lots of cabinets
and the huge island is so useful with tons of storage beneath.
most of my pictures were made with lots of sunshine coming thru
all the glorious windows, so they may not be too sharp.
the vintage, heavy gumball machine that delights all the little great-grands...
a goodwill find several years ago.
still lovin' my black and whites of family...
my snack tray that we ALL enjoy..
i love my farmhouse table so much...
once i add the 4 large leaves, it will take care of most of my family.
i will never ever quit missing him💔
love the pretty tea kettle my friend gave me.
mr. sweet outdid himself on building this amazing shelf..
i love it so...
(oops...i see a hot pink cast)
i need to redress this french bookshelf...
maybe tomorrow.....
i never tire of my view...
my thanks to you for going thru all these photos...
i won't post for awhile as using one finger to type is tiring
and i don't get my cast off until the end of august.

Your Mr. Sweet sure was and IS a talented man. Of course, you will always miss him. One day! And not too soon... (Goodness, BJ, I must really be slipping. I found an old photo of my family circa 1982 and felt a pang of loss for my first husband. I really thought that I was long over that. He was the husband of my youth, but John was the husband of my heart.) Golly life is messy! I am so thrilled that Mr. Sweet was your Beloved all through your life. ♥️

Simply stunning. I LOVE so much about these rooms including the color scheme. That arched window is beautiful! Now that snack station . . . could not be in MY house lol. There would never be any snacks for guests! So many beautiful touches (Love the 'Please Close the Gate' sign!)
