We woke up to a beautiful COLD snow this morning...
(12/8/18)
I was out taking these photos before daylight..
That light you see in the background...neighbors garage light.

....is this what Florida looks like when it snows.....???
The fire pit that warmed our feet before snow falling...
No matter what...there's always something to be thankful for.
No matter what...there's always something to be thankful for.
I think we ended up getting 8 or so inches...
but it is melting fast...
How PINK he looks, out there on the white snow...
I guess Ole Santa here thought he was back in the
North Pole....
I took a few photos from inside as, baby, it was C.O.L.D.
outside.....
OOO, I so love CHRISTMAS..
I can't keep from wishing Mr. Sweet was here with me tonight.
He loved Christmas, too...but he is where it all started...
♥
I still can't get over seeing SNOW on these pretty palm trees....
how fun....
Have ya'll had snow yet ??
LOVE, bj

LOVE, bj
Wow! Here we are in snow country and not a flake has fallen. Really does look pretty, especially the palm trees. Stay warm bj.
ReplyDeleteThat flamingo looks in SHOCK.
ReplyDeletePretty snow pictures. I like how the Pink Flamingo looks in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get some snow here in tomorrow afternoon. I hope not too much. I have to finish shopping and running around.
None here but it is cold.....and rainy.....just not cold enough to snow!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the snow. We don't get much here but when we do it tends to come in like crazy. It doesn't usually last long but every few years we have a storm with ice that stays around a long time. Your decorations are gorgeous and the snow through the windows just adds to them. Imagine the festivities in Heaven that Mr. Sweet is enjoying. But I do understand that you miss him. Sending hugs, dear friend.

Wow, you have more snow than we have here in Michigan!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy . .
What a lovely, strange sight to see. Flamingos and palm trees with a layer of snow. No snow this far south in FL.
ReplyDeleteOur dear husbands are with Jesus having a wonderful Christmas celebration and they are cheering us on in our walk of faith as we continue on in this journey of life without them.
Happy Christmas holidays ~ FlowerLady
Wow! How exciting! It does look a bit odd in your corner. It really is pretty, though. No snow for us in the last week, which is good. It has been very cold.
ReplyDeleteStay warm and cozy... love to you!
Now that's a sight I've never seen -- and quite a lot of snow, too! Oh, enjoy this odd, magical happening!
ReplyDeleteWow, pretty! I love Christmas too, but prefer just visiting the white stuff, not at my house! Happy Holidays, BJ. Wishing you comfort and joy. ♥
ReplyDeleteSnow, sleet, freezing rain, we have run the gamete. However we could have way more snow which I am sure happy we don't.
ReplyDeleteSeeing snow on palm trees is just weird.
God bless.
Ha! Lubbock is just 5 hours away from me (or so), but I woke up to bright sunshine and chilly temps in Austin. Your snow is pretty, though.
ReplyDeleteWe just got our first snow today.
ReplyDeleteThought of you yesterday when I saw the snow sights on TV. Snow is pretty but tankful we have not had it yet. Enjoy, stay warm and be careful.
ReplyDeleteI'm always surprised when I see Texas bathed in snow. It looks so magical.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! We are in the midst of a winter storm now, snow, and now ice on top.... we are in NC so I think my girls school will be closed for awhile.... lol. Enjoy the rest of your day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jill
I saw your snow on the Denver news yesterday. We always enjoy the moisture in whatever form it arrives!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Flamingos in snow really are pretty (although surely they are shivering!).
ReplyDeleteAre your palm trees real?
BJ that snow looks pretty. I do not think you get too much snow in Texas right? I know it can get cold but I did not think you got snow.
ReplyDeleteI wish Mr. Sweet was with you still too but knowing he is "where it all began" is beautiful and a wonderful Christmas gift. Have a great start to the new week.
Hugs,
Kris
I am enjoying all of the snow pictures I have been seeing here and on FB but I am so thankful that we do not have bitter cold or snow.
ReplyDeleteI love these pictures! I would never have believed they were taken in Florida until I saw the palm trees. Yes, lots of snow here...I live in Upstate New York. We wish for snow this time of year :-) a white Christmas is always nice.
ReplyDeleteThis ISN'T in Florida...it's in West Texas and those are fake palms.LOL
DeleteWowzers. That is a nice load of snow. Love the palms covered with snow!
ReplyDeleteLet Snow ... well, I say it sure did. You captured the beauty. Don't blame you for going inside to take some of the pictures. Cold here ... rain, but no snow. We don't get much snow here.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the beauty. Happy Christmas.
Hugs,
Audrey
Everything's beautiful, especially that Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful snowfall BJ! It is just so pretty as it coats everything in sparkling crystals! I know your heart misses Mr. Sweet so much! It is funny to see the palm tree covered in snow, so unusual! Enjoy it while it lasts :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty bj and what a surprise. Palm trees with snow who would think? Everything is a winter wonderland for a short time.
ReplyDeleteMr. Sweet was looking down smiling with you.
Cindy
WOW! Now that is some snow and beautiful too. Love all the pictures BJ. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness bj....no snow here in Southern Ontario Canada!
ReplyDeleteHopefully some for Christmas...
Your yard looks fabulous!
Have a wonderful Christmas...🎄
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Great photos. We have had cold and rainy weather here for the past 4 days. We lost power Saturday evening until Sunday evening. Have a blessed evening. Madeline
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! We're in Seattle and have a palm tree in our backyard. It is quite the sight to see a palm tree covered in snow! I also love how the middle of the night can seem like the afternoon when there is snow on the ground. Before moving to Seattle, I had no idea the moon reflected off the snow so much!
ReplyDeleteSnow, snow, beautiful snow! Love the pictures of snow on the palm trees! GORGEOUS pictures! Have a beautiful day dear B.J. HUGS!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I so wish the snow had made it to our part of Texas, but it is predicted that we may have some on Friday! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! :-) Love the way snow makes everything look!! Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteThose snowey palm trees are the best! Enjoy the wonder.
ReplyDeleteLisa
Oh my goodness! When the title came up on my feed I had to look twice as I didn't think it was you! Enjoy your winter wonderland. . .I bet Mr. Sweet helped make it happen (a little pre Christmas magic for his 'Sweetie') xxx
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are gorgeous! I have to admit that now that I’m older, and don’t have any particular place to go, I do like the snow. Last year I think we had a total of 1 inch, accumulated from three “dustings.“ This year we have had four snow falls, one around 6 inches, but fortunately it warmed up so it was beautiful in the morning, and gone in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing your photographs.
ReplyDeleteNo snow for us, but we've had a rainy weekend.
All the best Jan
Fun to see these photos. Love the snow.
