I saw this Lemon Pie Recipe on Face Book
and decided to give it a try.
I had plenty of Meyers Lemons
but I could not find my juicer ANYwhere...
so I did them by hand...
never saw so dang many lemon seeds in my whole life.
It said to beat long enuf for the filling to be smooth...
This is an entirely different kind of lemon pie from the
Old Fashioned Lemon Meringue ... TOTALLY different
It was pretty good...
a little too much Eagle Brand Milk
for my taste...
the
OLD FASHIONED LEMON
Too bad I don't live next door to you. I could help you with that pie!
ReplyDeleteI'd be willing to move into your neighborhood too!

ReplyDeleteLove lemon pie. It is my absolute favorite. I have never tried that recipe, but I do make an unbaked cheesecake that uses sweetened condensed milk along with the cream cheese.

Lemon ice box pie was our favorite for many years. Would still be if I would make one. Hard cooking for one. (porch)
