We've all heard "grab happiness when it comes around...."
Even in the midst of one of the hardest, if not THE hardest, times in my life,
Little things come along that make me happy...
...how much happier can you get when you find
3 pans with lids, in your favorite color...
never been used...
for $6.00 each.
I was swooning all over that Goodwill...
That pretty little monogrammed linen Kleenex box cover came from
my sweet girl...I just love it but I sure do love my Stacy more.
...then I spied this cute little sign....
Chocolate pie...
cake....
cookies...
but especially love Nana Diana's CHOCOLATE GRAVY.
Go to her blog and search it for her amazing recipe....
I found several more treasures at Goodwill that day
that I'll brag about another day.
He is gaining strength every day...
slow....but sure...
he is in a very nice rehab facility and they take good care of him...
and this makes me the happiest of all.
The pans that you found are so cute! And I agree on the chocolate... Your spouse looks happy. They must love him. xoox Su

I'm so glad to see this bright, cheery update on your goings-on! IT BRIGHTS me to see you enjoying the simple wonderfuls, and to see how much, again, that we have in common. (Chocolate gravy is a fabulous old stand-by for a frosty morning, and not out of place beside an elegant fruit tray, other).
ReplyDeleteThe best photo of all is your sweet family (unplanned accent on SWEET, as in MR. and his dear face so happy to be with his girls). And such lovely news of his improvement and gaining of strength and energy as he recovers. YOU KNOW these bee-jillion prayers of the past few months have been of great effect.
love to you and all you love,
rachel
