I have a pancake perhaps twice a year, but woke up craving them this morning. I've been saving a little packet of the "sprinkle birthday cake" ones for when Sweetpea is here, and she will be for tomorrow's breakfast, so I think I'll wait and try one of those.
And if there's ANYTHING you AIN'T, Hon, it's BORING!!
BJ, I would love for you to do a post on your father's café endeavors. I am curious as if you, your siblings and mom helped him. When we were young we ate a ton of pancakes, some times buck wheat. I never really liked the buck wheat. But mommy always gave us kids two choices, take it or leave it...LOL. Now that I am grown(old) I think you can add anything to the batter or top them with anything too.:):) Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Pancakes use to be a staple on weekends when I was young and our son was growing up. Now, not so much but now that you've got me to thinking about them I will want to make them. This sounds yummy just thinking about them……..
What a FUN post, BJ! I'm glad you've got grandkidlets around the share them 'cus its no fun eating alone. I just got an email from Perkins, advertising their Lemon-Blueberry pancakes...guess where I'm going this weekend??
-chuckle- Know what I love about this post????? That you say "I know you're tired of them." But you go right ahead and post it anyway!!!! Way to go!!!!
This is how our blogs and our blogging, should be. Any and every thing, which "floats our boat"!!! A recipe, a lovely painting, a magazine spread, a book, a movie, a random thought, a link... Whatever "floats our boat"!!!
Yesssssss!!!!!
Tessa sezzzzzzzzzzzzz... (now that's a blast from the past!!! -gigggles-)
I should come and eat pancakes with you. The Cowboy isn't a breakfast person. And not a breakfast for dinner guy. We have brunch! Thanks for sharing. Maybe someday I'll try.
Hello, dear Lady... we saw this post early this morning.... and having just a few dollars (birthday money) ... walked uptown and ordered two pancakes . ( have not had a pancake in well over 3 years....)
Way too much spam and people commenting that are stealing my space to post nonsense so.....no comments allowed. So sorry but I have no other choice. I love my blogging friends and most of all my family but these spam prone people are so rude and selfish have made my blogging not nearly as much fun..
Note: Only a member of this blog may post a comment.
Please share when you make them. Have a blessed day. Madeline

I love pancakes fr dinner. My Dad used to make the best silver dollars for me too when I was young. Love all the recipes!
ReplyDeleteI make mine dairy-free (same with waffles), but boy, we love them. Could never get sick of pancakes.
