February 14, 2016 will be here before we know it...
I have a few more photos I'd like to share of romantic visions......
I found this adorable
VALENTINE
cup at a local thrift store several years ago and I loved it to the moon and back....
and, then....
I dropped it and it broke into several pieces....BOO
isn't that always the one that gets broken !!
and who says that a beautiful PINK donut with RED strawberries
isn't ROMANTIC...??
Sweet little vintage books that belonged to my mama...
A slice of Almond Cake served with a healthy bit of LEMON CURD
served on a pink plate
and pink tulips....
PURE ROMANCE, YA'LL
...another little silver spoon that was in Mother's spoon collection;
Mr. Sweet says it looks like if he touched this flame, it would burn his finger...
I would like to have this cute pillow cover....
but maybe I can put a pretty RED ribbon around my
black and white XOXO pillow...

ReplyDeleteYour posts are so tempting! That pink donut looks mighty fine, and if it wasn't 7 degrees outside and I would have to slog through the snow, I would be making a donut run right now ;)

it will be for YOU!
I'm taking Daisy to her V-day dinner today, we both work on Valentines and I never go to restaurants on that day anyway. The lines, lines, lines!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely post for Valentine's Day. Hope you find another xoxo cup. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy! I don't have a lot of Valentine decorations. A door sconce, my little tree. Yours are so cheery -- and I love your wee mug!
ReplyDeleteBJ I really love the vintage books from your Mom, especially the poetry one. Your house looks charming and inviting for Valentine's Day. But my friend you're killing me with all those sweets ... I gave up all sugar's in everything for Lent.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Vera
I hate it when a fav cup gets broken. I have a cup that my bitty one made just for me. I don't let anyone use it cause if it broke I would be devastated! I noticed that you have been using lemon curd alot. Have you tried making it yet?
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to bring out my heart mugs!!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda
I hope that Linda does bring out her heart mugs. Valentine's Day is just around the corner.

It's true -- ugly mugs NEVER break. Not even if you use a hammer. Don't ask me how I know.
ReplyDeleteHi bj, love your yummy cake looks so good. Love the pillows. The vintage books are a treasure.

Oh I'm sorry you broke your cup. The pillows are pretty. I'm trying to get a couple recovered before our Sunday Valentines Day Dinner. More planned than I think I have time for. That's me, the overachiever. I love your scripture at the end. I have one too for my post which I need to get written. But I'm visitin' instead!
