I've shown you my dried roses...both of them :>)
♥
and now I want to talk about
RED PEPPER JELLY
One might ask....
"Why are you mixing jelly and roses all in one post ?"
♥
♥
Well, for one thing, I've fallen so in love with these two little roses that
I just keep snapping pictures of them...
Another reason...
on this particular morning, I noticed....
my RED PEPPER JELLY and dried roses were just about the same color...
♥
I do love this jelly on my pancakes..ummmmm
....even my coffee cup was blending right into the scene...
I loved it...
so here I am showing off my
COLORS......
Joining in the fun with:
BJ, your posts are fun and colorful and I love it. The roses are so sweet. I added another rose to my cute dried ones also. Blessings to you, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteLooks good! My sister in law makes a pepper jelly that we like to put on cream cheese and crackers at holiday time. It always gets eaten right up!
ReplyDeleteOh you are surrounded by your beautiful reds.
ReplyDeleteWell I liked the happy red pepper jelly and your little roses. My daughter used a pepper jelly poured over cream cheese at Christmas and it was good with crackers. Sounds like Kathleen Grace's sister in law must have done similar. Makes me hungry right now just thinking about it. My daughter used a spicy pepper jelly, which normally would have been too hot for me, but the cream cheese takes the pain out of it so I could enjoy the flavor.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful eye for color. Your posts are always color coordinated. Mine look like a hodge-podge of color. Hmmmmm...I must ponder this.
ReplyDeleteA lot of people don't realize that Red Bell Peppers are just Green Bell Peppers that were given much more time to mature
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous roses, bj. I love them. I don't think I could eat the pepper jelly though- my tummy couldn't take it. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThat sounds so delicious! Love the pretty roses, too! And red pepper jelly sounds good. Would love to taste that. I have loved Harry and David pepper and onion relish.... And my gramma had end of the garden relish... But yours sounds like a lil bite of summer. Yum!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are ART!!! Susie is right!! FUN and colorful are your trademarks!!
ReplyDeletePerhaps my favorite color as you will see if you read my next post
ReplyDeleteI love red! Love your combo of colors!

ReplyDeleteHave a good day!
The color is gorgeous on BOTH of them. I love the pot that you put the roses in (I know its not really a pot, but I forgot the name of it. Either way its pretty!)
ReplyDeleteRed pepper jelly? I like grape jelly and fig jelly, but I never heard of this one!
You find happiness in everything, bj! I love that about you.
ReplyDeleteNever heard of red pepper jelly. The colors do match. The pancakes with the jelly on them looks delicious. Have a blessed day. Madelline

Why not, I believe roses go with any and everything. I have even made rose cupcakes using safe to eat rose petals! Love pepper jelly too. Your colors are so pretty in your photographs and you've certainly left me hungry!
ReplyDeleteHugs bj............
Love that your roses kept a good color. I don't have that much luck with mine. Your breakfast looks so good. I like spicy food, but not too sure about the pepper jelly.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Audrey Z. @ Timeless Treasures
I have never seen red pepper jelly but boy does it look good. I love the green one! And who doesn't love roses! I just wish they lasted longer.
ReplyDeleteI love Braswell's fig preserves, they are so yummy. I'll give the red pepper jelly a try!
ReplyDeleteOh that jelly sounds so good and the roses are fabulous. I had to laugh about your plant stand and plant and you replacing it with a tea cart. If you like the plant stand, keep it, I just get on a tangent every once in a while and run wild. Who knows, the plant may be back next week. haha
ReplyDeleteyum!!! I love red pepper jelly. I can't believe how much pleasure you are still getting from those gorgeous roses.
ReplyDeleteHope you are warm in Texas!!!! : )
Your roses are so pretty and I love the red pepper jelly and never thought of them being the same colors. Thanks for popping in.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I don't think I've ever had red pepper jelly, but it looks great! I'll have to go find some. Love the roses too! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never had red pepper jelly, either, but it sounds delicious. Aren't roses the perfect flowers? I'm still enjoying my roses from Valentine's Day. They're on their last leg now... :)
ReplyDeleteThose are some of the sweetest colors. Love those roses too, it's one unique breed.
ReplyDeleteYou ALWAYS make me smile even when I don't feel like doing it. Thank you! Never heard of that kind of jelly..but it sure does look delicious.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a new one for me ( red pepper jelly on pancakes! :)
ReplyDeleteBut we all need color at this time of year that is for sure :)
