Once a year, I am host to our monthly BUNCO GROUP.
November is my month and this was the 2nd time we met at our new home.
I just did a post about the place mats I had made for this year's
Bunco gathering.
I just did a post about the place mats I had made for this year's
Bunco gathering.
I did NOT get good photos...just too busy getting my friends all comfy,
fill their plates and joining in the fun.
I did get a few photos before the big day, tho.
Gathering all the dishes and containers needed to hold
all this amazing food...
(I always do this before any big meal we are having)

This pretty rooster large ceramic platter
worked perfectly holding the Honey Glazed Spiral Cut Ham.
Little crystal bowls that were my mom's held peanuts and other snacks...
My vintage Ironstone gravy boat has been used over and over again,
holding everything from snacks to.....well......gravy.

JEEVES here not only serves cake and ice cream....he did an awesome job on serving
Cream Cheese Sausage Puffs....
yes, he did !
I'm very partial to his dress....
Baskets for hot rolls and crackers for cheese..

This tiered metal stand always works great for serving cupcakes...
cookies......
candies......
I bought this years ago at Dollar Gen.
and have looked for another ever since.
Cake stand is so so olden.
I remember all the cakes my mama served on it....
and now, I've had it almost 30 years and have no idea how many times
I've used it to serve cake to my family and friends.
What makes things just taste better when you know the history of the serving piece...
especially when it's family history ?

Not every time...but sometimes, I look at my cake plate and can hear my mama moving around in the kitchen..just like when I was a little girl.
(am I losing it...??)

We had my favorite flavor of DUNKIN DONUTS coffee....
Old Fashioned Donut....so so good.
