Hi, Everyone.
Our girl and her family went on a Labor Day retreat to Red River, NM and bought some
CHERRY BUTTER....
and shared some with us.
I'd never tasted or even heard of CHERRY BUTTER
and let me tell you that
it is delicious.
This particular morning, I made OVEN TOAST and put the cherry butter
in my mama's pretty, vintage compote.
My newest color-combo favorite is
turquoise and red...I just love those colors together.
We use our toaster most mornings but our favorite is
oven toast.
Which do you like the best..?

Sounds yummy ! I don't eat a lot of toast, but if for a sandwich I use the toaster, if with eggs, and/or a bit of jam or jelly I usually make skillet toast.
ReplyDeleteWell it sounds interesting...I've heard of apple butter, but not cherry.
ReplyDeleteHere it is at 10:10 pm and you've made me hungry! Cherries are so good for a person, too. I have cherry extract every day and I'd rather have cherry butter. Oven toast? What's that?
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard of cherry butter ... what a delight!
ReplyDeleteCherry butter sounds delicious -- I'll have to look for it! We fix our toast (well, toast for the Mr and an English muffin for me) in a toaster oven so, um, I'm not sure which one it is!! LOL! Oh, and the cherry butter looks very pretty in your mother's compote :)
ReplyDeletenever heard of cherry butter or oven toast...I grew up under a rock I guess.
ReplyDeleteYour color combination is very cheerful as all your table settings always are. You always create a pretty food presentation. Never had cherry butter that's a new one to me.
ReplyDeleteYou know we live in the Cherry Capital of the Midwest and I have seen every cherry product imaginable but I have never seen cherry butter! It sounds delicious! Love the red and turquoise, bj! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI have never heard OF it either but I will sure be looking FOR it now!!
ReplyDeleteOne of mister IGH favorites . . .
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed . . .
Oven toast I'm guessing, is toasted in the oven? I normally use a toaster. Never had Cherry butter, looks and sounds good!
ReplyDeleteCherry butter is new to me too BJ, it looks beautiful in the compote bowl:@)
ReplyDeleteI love your 50th anniversary photo.
ReplyDeleteHappiness . . .
its sounds wonderful, is it like Apple Butter I wonder,,,,,
ReplyDeleteOh yum, yum, YUM! You can't go wrong with cherries :) Hugs to you, sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of cherry butter. I do eat a lot of apple butter. When I used to make toast I used the toaster. Your cherry butter looks very nice in you mothers compote. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteCherries are so good for us too!
ReplyDeleteThinking of friends, loved ones lost, families devastated, survivors, and all the peace-loving people across this country, as again we recall the horrors of 9/11. We must never forget, and world leaders must step up to the plate to prevent anything such as this from ever happening again!
My prayers are being said today, and every day.
Hugs - Mary
Mmmm...that cherry butter looks amazing! I got rid of my regular toaster about a year ago and replaced it with a toaster oven....so versatile and I really like the way it toasts. I use it to bake biscuits and other things too :)
ReplyDeleteLooks perfectly DE-LISH!
ReplyDeleteI like toaster toast. And I've never heard of cherry butter. You are always coming up with things I have not tried. And they always look delicious!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious! Your blog always makes me hungry ;)
ReplyDeleteOh I want a piece of toast with that sweet butter...and yes, maybe some coco too! I got cravings looking at your post and I'm not pregnant at this point in time...lol Looks totally yummy sweet friend.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend ahead.

If you use your oven to toast, would the bread be called an oven? Think about it.
ReplyDeleteWhy are bread jokes always funny?
Because they never get mold.
