  11. I'm sure you remember when I told you about the Joy the elephant. Well our Zoo in Greenville just had another tragedy. A mother giraffe's pregnancy was hyped up for weeks, and she delivered a still-born calf. I'm sure all mammals find the experience of losing their infants heartbreaking. Felt so bad for her.

  12. How fun! My 27 year old daughter had a stuffed giraffe as a toddler. It's worn and ragged and I have it HIDDEN for someday when she will appreciate it! Ha!
