I love anything ORANGE

HI, YA'LL

I love the taste of ORANGE..
and I have grown to like the COLOR Orange....

When I saw this ORANGE CRUSH CAKE
at the grocery store last week, I wanted to rip open the package
and eat it, right then and there.

If you like ORANGES,
I think you will like this cake....A LOT.

It  isn't REAL sweet but sweet enuf.

It has a powdered sugar glaze which takes the cake right over the top.

(my Weekly Top Shot)

Daughter, Stacy and her girls were over the other evening for Chicken Salad Sandwiches
and we had the ORANGE CRUSH CAKE and Vanilla Ice Cream.
They all loved the cake, too.

Thanks for coming by...

  2. Oh, I'm with you! Hope I can find this cake... I love orange scented cleaners, too... And Neroli scented lotions.... I made Paula Deen's biscuit thing with orange zest and title bits of cream cheese wrapped in quartered biscuits rolled in butter 'n orange zest sugar... It was good, I heard. I gave it away and never made another! Lol... But never did I set the table to be pretty as yours!.

  20. You set every meal in such a nice way. I would not know how to eat that way. However, I would dearly love anything you fixed any way you served it. Did you get to see the chickens?

  25. I've been loving on the color orange for ages ... particularly, it's cousin, peach. (I used to long for a bathroom done in peach and buttercream yellow.) You think I'd love the flavor as well, but can't bring myself to taste it on purpose.
Now, your chicken salad? I'd probably arm-wrestle you for the last bite. :) Luscious pictures!

PS - That piece of bric-a-brac on the fork is adorable!

Just like I get at Cracker Barrel.
