~ paper ~

Do you ever decorate at Christmas with PAPER PLATES...??

Am I the only one on the planet that does crazy things like that...???
I mean, REALLY...
for decorating...???

SUSAN WINGET..... (i also love her calenders)
75% off....
JoAnns Fabrics

 They are just so cute,
I couldn't hide them away....

I just LUV SnowMen

So,  I just put those cute little guys in a easel stand and they became a
part of my KITCHEN decorating....
Really ...???
REALLY....I did.

It seems to me that a lowly breakfast of
CANNED *gasp* biscuits and creamed gravy
tastes much better on a CUTE PAPER PLATE by SUSAN WINGET.

 Little Sweater Ball Banner.

..the pears are still sooo good..

We sure like fruit of any kind with our breasfasts...

The little Christmas basket was 75% off, too.

I get her calendars almost every year...
Has anyone ever done an entire post about
PAPER PLATES...???'s more about working with this luscious
than about the paper......just fun.
XOXO, bj

  6. Hi BJ, with these cute Christmasy paper plates, I would do the same thing too. They make good decoration items. You have used them creatively and beautifully. Great decorations, love them all!

  7. This is adorable, BJ. I saw some cute paper plates at Pier 1 today. Great idea to use them for decor.

  8. Way fun and beautiful! I love using paper plates and disposable products for the Holidays because the clean-up is so much easier. Who needs more to do to keep us from enjoying time with family and friends, right?! Delighted to follow you!! ;)

  9. What a fun-filled post!!!! xo

  10. Definitely a very Christmas post today with all the red and snowflakes, etc., etc.

  11. Never, but you make paper look glorious.

    God bless.

  12. They aren't just paper plates anymore. They are pieces of artwork so why not display them. Defintely festive.
P.S. Took your lead and picked up some of the little square plastic plates at Target; not the plaid, I went for the variety.

  13. Only you would think of something so different and unique. I use paper plates often to eat out of and then trash. Nothing fancy. I have not gotten the "spirit" yet.

  14. A mighty fine idea!I think that I'll copy it and give you credit, of course.

  15. I just got home from shopping bought some Christmas paper plates. I like your idea of decorating with them. I may copy you. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  16. Why not decorate with the pretty paper plates. These patterns are so pretty. I am heading to JoAnn's today I need some pretty dessert plates. Glad they are on sale. Have a great new week ahead.

  17. I have never done it but I love the idea. These are pretty. My stepmom has a thing for pretty napkins. I buy her some for either Christmas or her birthday

  18. Nope, can't say I've ever decorated with paper plates BJ but you have pulled it off making them look so festive in the charming red basket.

  19. BJ, They are all so bright and cheery the mostly reds. Good Job. Sylvia D.

  20. I am such a sucker for holiday paperware! You definitely found some of the best!

  21. Hi BJ - Greetings from Abu Dhabi :) No I have never read a post on decorating with paper plates but you could write a post on decorating with festive loo roll and we'd all enjoy it! Christmas would be such fun at your place, you'd never run out of plates for visitors that's for sure!
    Happy days :)

  22. You are so creative you knock my socks off. Of coarse this means I can copy you.

  23. Whatever you do is just plain cute, bj!! I love pretty paper plates and pretty paper napkins, too. Thanks for telling us about the great deals at JoAnn's. I like Dollar Tree's paper products, too.

  24. BJ, I use lots of pretty paper napkins all year long...and the Christmas ones are too sweet not to have out. I like the plates. That little basket was a good find. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  25. I never get the Christmas plates to eat on. White ones are far cheaper

  26. All of your plates are pretty, but like the ones with the Snowmen the best. I am thinking about using some paper plates for desserts this Christmas to cut down on washing dishes.
    Audrey Z.

  27. Well yes I love to decorate with paper things. I have cute paper napkins on display right now. We try not to use a lot of paper plates but we always get dessert size ones for holidays.

  28. Your fun paper plates made me smile. What a clever idea to use them as decor.

  29. Very pretty and thrifty too. I posted about Thrifty decorating today too!
    I love paper plates. Pretty!

  30. Paper... I love paper and buy paper plates and napkins just to look at.... parceling out a few at a time to be used so they last longer. I just began following you on Google Friend Connect.

  31. Why not . . .
those colorful plates would work for me too!

  32. BJ I've never thought to use paper in my holiday décor but sure brightens yours and looks festive.

  33. How adorable! I would have never thought to do that although I do think it's such a waste to have such cuteness be tossed in the trash before you can really enjoy it! Great idea, bj!

  34. I love Susan Winget too. Paper plates are so cute now, I would totally use them any time for decorating. 75% off? How did I miss that sale? I need to check my local Joanne's now.
