Christmas Weather a few days late...

 12/27/15
A snow blizzard ...

Sooo, we "put the kettle on" for hot, spiced tea...

...made cinnamon rolls from a can of crescent rolls...

sliced more off the
Christmas ham

 enjoyed it all with CUTIE oranges (Vitamin C, ya know)

and decided to
♫ let it snow...
                      let it snow...♪
                                      let it snow.♫ ♫

David's swimming pool beginning to look like we could ice skate on it.

It's supposed to do this all night long, clearing up a bit by 9 a.m. Monday.

OOO...and I have to claim my
GREAT-GRANDMOTHER braggin' rights....

Patrick.....Graham....and Cate
aren't those hats just the cutest...not to mention their sweet faces.

  1. Precious little ones! How cute! We have had heavy rains for two days but the temp is dropping now, so don't know what we will get. Predicting snow. I can handle the snow, just not the ice.

    Take care,

    Judy

  7. We haven't gotten any winter storms. Christmas day was warm, and the 26th was HOT.

  8. Cute grandchildren! It has been cold here, but colder where you are. I am going to be happy, because I don't like the heat, and at least it won't snow here! :) Stay warm!

  13. Oh my goodness those Great Grands are soooo adorable! Well you must have Michigan's weather this year and we got yours. We are supposed to have some freezing rain today, but that's old hat for us, and then the forecast warms up to melt it tomorrow. Hang tight BJ, it'll go away ;) I bet everyone's glad the greenhouse is done!

  19. We had snow for Christmas (was worried we wouldn't) but just barely. Usually by this time of year we have tons of the white stuff and are getting quite sick of it. Not this year.

    The temperatures have dropped drastically though and when it gets this cold we just don't get anymore snow. Hopefully soon though as everything looks so lovely with a coat of white.

    God bless.

  20. Enjoy the snow but stay warm. Your photos are great. It is warm here but they are predicting maybe tornadoes, strong winds and lots of rain for today. I am so glad I got my outside Christmas decorations put up. Have a blessed day and stay safe. Madeline

  24. We had a little of everything, but not this much snow. It was one crazy weekend. So much destruction in Garland. We were spared one more time. I know it is very cold your way. I would probably freeze, Stay in and warm.
