Ugly Sweater Cookies....gotta love 'em

CHRISTMAS has a way of sneaking up on me....
and trying to get everything done before THE BIG DAY
can make my head swim....

Some things might have to be dropped during this busy time...
maybe not put out as many decorations....
maybe skip a small tree that usually goes up...
maybe using BAGS instead of wrapping in awesome Christmas paper....

But never, EVER skip a family tradition...
like....
making cookies with grandgirls...
With time running out and Christmas Eve the very next day,
this year, our annual GRANDGIRL COOKIE BAKING DAY
took a little different approach.

I found big sugar cookie decorating kits...

UGLY SWEATER COOKIES

ALL the baking done, tasted delicious and they turned out soooooooo
cute...

just take a look....

The twins, BAILEY KAY and ANDREA KEITH
aren't they so pretty....

Andrea's hands....

Our pretty Brynna and Deeds...

How full my heart was to have 5 of the 7 grandgirls, once again in my kitchen,
having fun with their cousins...
I have to say that I gave God another "THANK YOU for letting me be here again this Christmas with my family."

LACEY JEAN
OK....5 girls and 32 cookies to decorate....
FUN FUN FUN

all the giggling and laughing and eating cookies...

nothing in the world like it.

 Andrea and her Aunt Stacy...

well, of COURSE I had to decorate just one cookie...
.and I ate it as soon as it was finished...

Deed's hands.....

The creativity that comes out of their minds and hands just blows me away...

They took plates of cookies home with them...
plenty of cookies for SANTA...

LOVE TO ALL...bj

  20. What fun! This is a great tradition. I think I should start doing the same with my four granddaughters. The little ones are four and five so next Christmas will be a great time to start. Love the sweaters. Now, if we could only taste them!
