the day of THE GREEN....
I am sharing a
HODGEPODGE of GREEN
this year....
This is a St. Patrick's Picnic Table
with one of my favorite color combos...
turquoise and green...lime green.
* * *
...paper plates and solo cups....
in beautiful colors for my
St. Patrick's Day PICNIC TABLE
Did you notice the IRISH KISSING BALLS ?
Almost every one wants to take at least a SIP of
an Irish Whiskey Coffee....
Mr. Sweet bought the Mackenzie*Childs wine bag for
me,
one for Stacy
and one for DIL, Kathy.
We all loved them....
He would hold up one of these KISSING BALLS
and give me a kiss...
...a few green ones in there for THE DAY.
hahhhaaaa....I've had this cute card for years and years....
NO lamb in my IRISH STEW...
but I tell ya...
there's IRISH POTATOES
so I can legally call it
MY IRISH STEW.....
Irish Soda Bread and
an Irish Stew from a few years back.
This is a simple plain photo except for the.......
SUNSHINE on my table.
Gotta love it !!
I just had to share again, this beautiful
Irish Green Rose
designed by my sweet, talented and beautiful blog friend,
LISA
♥
Some of us were trying to peel an apple in one long stroke
and she came up with this
DESIGNER ROSE....so cute.
When you go over to tell her how cute it is,
please tell her bj said HEY.

Well, I am pretty sure I don't have a drop one of Irish blood...
but I still like kisses.....💋
💚 Happy St.Pat’s Day! Only you can make paper plates and Solo cups look amazing! You have a fabulous eye for color, placement, and style! 💚
ReplyDeleteGreat post, bj! But d'oh -- I should have had Bailey's Irish Cream Coffee this morning! What was I thinking? Maybe I'll have a cup later this morning -- TWO cups of coffee in one day won't kill me, I think.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm off to pinch people at Walmart.
ReplyDeleteBegora and the luck o' the Irish to you BJ! It is coming to a close, St. Patrick's Day (totally without fanfare) here in Greece and we are dining at our friend's house tonight - Irish stew and soda bread -- and I wonder what do I own these days that has a wee bit o' green in it!? xxx J.
ReplyDeleteBJ, Happy St. Patty's Day . I loved seeing all the cute green décor at your house. So many nice things. Sure would love some stew today. It's snowing here. Won't last because in two days it's to be in the 50's. I had to laugh at your card. So funny. Your Mr. Sweet was exactly that...sweet. What wonderful wine bags. Blessings to you , xoxo, love you, Susie
ReplyDeleteI love this post, bj. I see so many happy memories from the past...and know that some of them are bittersweet for you. You do the best posts and I am NEVER disappointed when I come here because you light up a moment of my day~
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful, blessed St. Paddy's Day....and oh--how I love that little Lisa. I met her through you and I hope to meet her in person one day...on my way to FL via the beaches. lol xo Diana
I have a big smile and chuckle after reading your blog this morning. I will have that card in my head all day. Take care. Cheryl

What a lot of delightful greens in this post BJ! I smiled about the precious memories you shared of your Mr. Sweet! And your Irish stew looked amazing! We had potluck corned beef dinner at church yesterday, and I am having some of it for leftover at lunch today. You've made me decide it's time for lunch, ha! Hope you have a great rest of the week :)
ReplyDeleteOh girl, you have SO much green. I could hardly find anything green to wear to Church Sunday. I guess it just isn't my color:) Have a blessed and beautiful day dear friend, HUGS!
