meee, too !!!
My blogging friend,
STACEY
CEO of Poofing The Pillows blog
shared the following recipe the other day
and while I have made these biscuits with MILK...
I've never used her Secret Ingredient....(shhh. it's sour cream)
until this morning in this recipe.
I've used it in regular biscuits and cornbread so...
why did it take me so long to add it to this recipe ??
♥ ♥ ♥
These are DELICIOUS...
easy...
go together quickly...
bake to a golden brown in just about 15 minutes...
I like and eat biscuits year 'round.....
but they are extra tasty as the mornings are cooler...
Drop biscuits may not be as pretty as a rolled, cut-out one,
but these are light as feathers and so tasty.
Mr. Sweet's favorite way to eat a biscuit...
Creamed Gravy with lots of pepper.
Not bad....at all....
My favorite way to eat a biscuit...
with jelly...
jam...
honey...
just about anything SWEET...
(and, yes, NANA DIANE, they will be awesome with your
CHOCOLATE GRAVY..) YUM
I love playing in PIC MONKEY EDITING.
(but not as much as I love a biscuit)
-This is WATERCOLOR.
It's fun...
you can do just about anything with your photos...
and...
it's FREE....
So, make a pan of these delicious biscuits,
take a picture and have fun with it in
Pic Monkey....
and then visit STACEY'S blog....
please tell her bj says HEY.

Pic Monkey is free again? I left when it was not free. Will have to investigate again. I might have known you were having biscuits for breakfast. 🍒
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to try these magic biscuits! I've been craving biscuits but I'm too lazy to roll them out and cut them. So drop biscuits are PERFECT, lol.
ReplyDeleteMmm, you make them look so good! We like them best with a little apricot preserves. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this easy biscuit recipe with us. Your photos are great the biscuits look so good. Have a blessed day and a wonderful week. Madeline
ReplyDeleteI love making drop biscuits. When we were little we used to call them "Ugly biscuits". We would have a dish with ugly biscuits and would pout up because they were hard to open for butter and jelly. We never liked it when mom made them but now days I love them! and they are perfect with gravy!
ReplyDeleteLisa
I’d eat with a sweet spread too-atop melted butter of course!
ReplyDeleteSoon I'll have my own kitchen and ingredients soon to enjoy making things like those biscuits. This morning in Colville I stopped in at the Acorn Saloon for their breakfast special A biscuit and gray with one egg for $3.99. On top of that they give all seniors a 10% discount so my breakfast cost me $3.89 after tax. Can't beat that with a stick! Thanks for the revved up recipe bj!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite way to eat a biscuit is just like Mr. Sweet!! love love love that good gravy and lots of pepper! Your post is making me hungry! and there's a hurricane headed our way, yikes!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Lordy! If it ever stops raining, I'm going for sour cream!
ReplyDeleteI was JUST on Pic Monkey for the first time over the weekend and it said I could sign up for a free trial. I'll have to check again. Rebecca Jo over at Rebeccajoknits suggested it to me. Those biscuits do look easy! And yummy!
