...really wanting a good dessert,
I saw we had only 2 peaches left.
hmmm...wonder if that's enuf to make a
FINE PEACH CRISP
...peel and cut into small chunks.
Pecans and I have had a LOVE AFFAIR for years...
Dot with butter...
(seems extra good when baked in a vintage CorningWare bowl..)
Slide into a 400 oven until bubbly and slightly brown on top.
2 large peaches actually made 4 small bowls of delicious
delightfullness....
just right for the Mr. and I.
just right for the Mr. and I.
I love desserts like this that takes such a short time to throw together...
My mama had a Coconut Custard
she could whip up in a matter of minutes...without a recipe, of course.
I did pin her down one day and got a
"sort of recipe" ...
I'll make it soon and share with you.

ReplyDeleteBJ, I was thinking that would be so good with a scoop of ice cream. I will make apple crisp out of all those tasteless apple we buy at the store. So they aren't wasted. Saw our neighbors picking apricots today. I may go pick a couple...why yes, I would ask first. LOL...not like when I was a kid. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

We have peaches galore in Texas at the moment, but they are really pricey! Although I do like peaches, I prefer those wonderful plump strawberries.
ReplyDeleteI love fresh peach cobber and peach homemade ice cream. Had a lot of good ones when growing up, but I just do not fool with them now. I dearly enjoy what others fix tho. They had the Weather ford peach festival last weekend, but did not go. Too hot. Think of me when you are eating your goodies.
ReplyDeleteThat peach crisp looks 'good enough to eat'. I think I am taking a trip next month to a peach orchard and I am going to bring home gobs of fresh peaches. Then.... peach crisp, peach cobbler, peach pie... yum.
ReplyDeleteYum!!!! Easy and Yum perfection!
ReplyDeleteKris
That might be the easiest, most delicious dessert ever!! I flagged this to make real soon. I have every ingredient in the house already to boot. :) :)
ReplyDeleteWow this recipe looks and sounds so yummy. I love peach desserts!
ReplyDeleteJulie xo
This looks delicious! It's disappointing that the peaches at our farmers market haven't looked good this years. I would love some homemade peach ice cream.
ReplyDeletexx,
Sherry
I love the simplicity of your dessert. I think there is nothing better than a good peach.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky to have a peach tree! I love fresh peaches and they are just about gone from the farmer's market. I'm going to drop by on Saturday and search for peaches one more time. I think the peach is my favorite fruit. 2 little peaches go a long way! Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteYou made the most of your two peaches. Yum!
ReplyDeleteWay to use up those last two peaches.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
looks good
ReplyDeleteQuick ... easy and yummy. That is the kind of dessert I like. I had canned peaches and ice cream tonight, but your peach crisp sounds much better. Will give it a try sometime.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Audrey Z. @ Timeless Treasures
Oh so yummy! Great idea and so easy too. Thanks for sharing! We should be getting peaches in the stores soon (from Ontario). :) Otherwise they're from the US and not quite as fresh by the time they get here.
ReplyDeleteAren't you clever to produce such a yummy dessert with two little peaches! I have a set of 3 of the corning ware casserole dishes in my cupboard that I use all the time. Are we old when our dishes are considered vintage? LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to Mosaic Monday BJ.
There is nothing better than fresh picked peaches made into crisp!
