Don't forget....










 I had my annual mammogram last week....(new tech made it not hurt so much)

It came back NORMAL, for which I am on my knees thankful.



If you need to get one, please don't forget....

Call for an appointment as soon as you can.

    my mammos are always in october. birthday month and I think its breast cancer awareness month. that was I dont forget! cookies look yummy and I love your blog!

    Like you, I had mine last week with good results! Yay! This was my first time on the fancy new machine and I have to say that by comparison not bad at all! Good for you -- I'm glad your results were great!

    Experienced mammogram a few times and it was not pleasant at all. Hopefully we will this new tech ones that will not hurt so much. The cookies look good. Have a great weekend!

    I love that you send out these reminders each year, BJ. One of my sewing friends just had a double mastectomy done & my lifelong friend who was diagnosed 20 years ago has had it come back. Sad.
    I shall make my appointment on Monday.

    p.s. I hope you can plant your pretty pink tulip bulbs in the fall. With the cold snaps you get there in West TX, I bet they would bloom again for you. I wish the rabbits didn't like mine so much...they eat all the RED ones & leave the yellow & white ones along. Strange.

    I go every year, but just read that women my age only need to go every 2 years now. Don't know if that article is true so I'll ask when I go again which is coming up soon. Good to hear yours came back fine! Yay!

    Up here we get our reminders from the clinics as well, and like you, I am faithful about getting this done. I'm glad that you are 'all clear'. I'm also glad that you posted those cookies - they look wonderful. I had a look at the recipe. mmmmmm

    The pink cookies are a west Texas thing. All my friends who grew up in Abilene talk about these pink cookies.

    No pink cookies to come home to . . .
    Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chip Ghirardelli cookies have sweetened me this month though . . .
