Moving......

 Moving
all the pretty flowers, pot plants and ferns to
THE GREENHOUSE

the shelves still have to be built...
and the storm door hung...
and some pretty  hooks with a rod to hang potted plants...
and maybe a few cute signs, hanging around....

but it is finished to the point that we could move plants inside
and just put them on the gravel floor...
....cold weather coming....
This is such a neat greenhouse...we're all really proud of it.

I've never had a greenhouse before...
the nearest I've come...

 is this outdoor
POTTING BENCH AREA
that I had at our olden house....

This was so much fun and everything looked amazing.....
during the summer's hot days.

....however, when the cold....windy....snowy days were starting,
I had no where to go with plants.

such fun to have a warm place for tomatoes, peppers...
(daughter in law, KATHY, started them all from seeds...)

The guys really did an amazing job on the building of this greenhouse.

Hopefully, the greenhouse will help make the above slightly boring pool

look more like it did in the
♫ GOOD OLE SUMMERTIME....♫ ♪

XOXO, bj

  3. Hi bj - nice greenhouse, darlin!

You should see if some local businesses (or Craigs List) has some extra wooden pallets - those are a nice "buffer" than sitting plants directly on the cold ground.

GL with them sleeping happily in the winter. My husband wants a greenhouse badly - has talked about it since we moved here 13 years ago!

  15. Yippee! BJ, you and Mr. Sweet did an amazing job. It will certainly be a welcomed home for all those pretty plants when winter hits. I've never had a green house. I keep a cabinet full of special plant covers though. It's a pain to cover things, but it's also a lot of work if I let things freeze and have to clean up the mess. '-) Now you are all set! Do you think we are going to have a really cold winter this year?

  17. That is a really beautiful greenhouse BJ. I'm sure your plants will do well in it this winter. And we'll all be dreaming of summer and our decks, gardens and pools over the next months as winter sets in. We had frost again this morning here and it's only going to be 6C (about 45F) today. Yep. It's chilly!! :) Have a great day!
