Our daughter, STACY LEIGH, and her family were on
vacation in Colorful Colorado last week and she saw this amazing fence.
Being the sweetie she is,
she snapped a photo and emailed it to me.
She knows I like to play along with TEX for her weekly
GOOD FENCES.

Gosh, this is a really cool fence.
Very pretty and they used logs that are probably readily available in that country.
I really like the way they built it.
Thanks so much, Stacy.

Since it's just not my style to post only one photo,
I am sharing a pie recipe....
The recipe for my Lemon pie is written in an OLDEN and very USED cookbook...
If I am remembering right, it actually came out of SOUTHERN LIVING.

FOODIE FRIDAY
I love Lemon pie, an all time favorite. Your recipe is simply easy to make.
ReplyDeleteHi Bj, over here the weather has changed from very hot days to hot & wet these few days. First half day very hot and rains heavily in the afternoon or night. Many are down with cold or influenza including hubby and I. The fencing looks like a zig-zag fencing! Anything to do with lemon sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a fine fence. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a little less hot in SC. It got so hot in June/July that the glue on my rearview mirror melted off...twice.
ReplyDeletehahhaaa....I love you, Adam....you are so so funny...Coming over over right now.
DeleteThat even happened to my Friend's new car... until these last few days it has been miserably hot here... actually feels rather "pleasant" outside today , dear Lady...
DeleteThat is a nice fence.
ReplyDeleteStay cool and beat the heat!
Lovely fence...
ReplyDeleteBut I am still giggling about Adam/above's comment.... "It got so hot in June/July that the glue on my rearview mirror melted off...twice. "
Now! That! Is! Hot! -gigggles-
Cooling hugs,
Tessa

ReplyDeleteHello BJ, what a pretty scene and a wonderful fence shot. Thanks for sharing your recipe too! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteWe reached triple digits (again) yesterday and after a brief rain shower in the morning the heat made it feel like a sauna outside. - Very pretty fence shot so be sure to tell your daughter thanks for sharing it. - I love Lemon so I'll have to give your recipe a try.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great fence. Your lemon pie recipe sound so good. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteGlad that Stacy is looking out for you in finding interesting fences for your GOOD FENCE post. Love the old zig-zag style but could get pretty dizzy if looking at it while driving fast down the highway. Pretty scene too. Thanks Stacy and thanks bj for sharing that and your lemon pie. We always have lemon pie at Christmas and maybe Thanksgiving too. I can do without the meringue so I would be happy.
ReplyDeleteWe had a good rain shower this morning ... about ½" and it was wonderful.
I stood at the workshop door just clapping my hands and giving thanks.
Blessings bj ... take care in the heat.
